Steady Progress, New Stats, Press Release
The fourth day of our Kickstarter campaign has come to a close, and it was a great day with almost $1,000 increase in pledges and 29 new backers. I've shared 2 charts, with all sorts of cool statistics to measure how we are doing so far. As you can see, we are trending towards $35,000, which is amazing... but let's not get overconfident. Our first 4 days have been all over the place (statistically speaking), and I doubt an average of those 4 days represents the remaining 26 days. But, nevertheless its still interesting. =)
I really like this next chart. It sums up our entire project very nicely, and clearly states that we need to average $574 each day to meet our goal. That does seem quite achievable, as long as we can get around 21 backers each day.
While writing press releases is not my specialty, I think it turned out pretty good. This release has been sent using PRWeb to over 4,500+ news outlets, and is making its way through newsrooms all over the world. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed a few big websites pick up the article, and distribute it to their users... giving our campaign a boost.

Feel free to share this press release with all your favorite tech and news websites. Also, you can mention that the lead developer (i.e. me) is more than happy to be interviewed and answer questions regarding the improvements to OpenShot and our Kickstarter campaign.
Thank you to all the backers (163 so far) for supporting OpenShot! You are all awesome for supporting an open-source application, and actively helping me spread the word about this campaign!
