I Can Make a Mess is gearing up to record their third album, which will be released this spring. All aspects of this record, from the raw music to the multi-purpose packaging and unique plans for grassroots promotion, were inspired and made possible by Ace Enders' extremely close relationship with supporters and he's excited to involve everyone even further with this project.
As a completely independent artist, without a label or manager for the first time in his ten year career, Ace is free to create as he did when first starting out and is able to explore and test a new method of spreading his music. He hopes that we can all use what we learn from this project to create a model that can help all independent bands make a living despite the financial challenges and industry obstacles that exist.
We're happy to be able to work with you and for you to make these efforts possible. Our minimum budget of $10,000 will be used for recording, promotion, and the filming of a documentary. The promotions carried out by our network of interns will include a variety of innovative physical and online grassroots campaigns that will require a relatively small budget with the potential to make a big impact.
A network of 200 dedicated interns is in place, working from their homes around the world as well as in the I Can Make a Mess office in Hammonton, NJ. The internship program is a new hybrid of a record label staff and street team organized into special departments. All of our interns have the knowledge, talent, experience, and passion to carry out efforts that allow the band to function with the same resources of a label. You can learn more about the internship here (http://rockradius.wordpress.com)
This new method of promotion and the circumstances that led I Can Make a Mess to create it will be featured in a documentary film that will share the solutions we've found.
We're really excited to offer each of the incentives at every pledge level. If you have questions about any of the rewards, don't hesitate to get in touch.
