We’re raising money to help produce our first line—a blend of sportswear and menswear inspired by the clothing that we’ll always have a place for, and by our undying appreciation for the traditions that defined the world in which we grew up and continue to unite us.
We have completed the designs, and 100% of the money raised in this campaign will go toward production of the pieces described below.
This project has been a community effort from the very start, and we’re finally ready to begin production. We’d never have made it this far without the support of family, friends and people like you. And now, we’re ready for the next step.

ABOUT THE LINE

We're committed to manufacturing our pieces here in the USA from the very start. All of the pieces in our line will be Made in America from the highest-quality materials.
Signature Boardshort: Designed with a contemporary fit and practicality in mind. Our boardie is 100%-nylon with a 17" outseam to fall above the knee, a contoured waistline and forward inseam to ward off chafing. An angled side pocket will keep your valuables safe and out of the way. Velcro-free, single flat-button closure.

Khaki Walk Short: Authentic cotton twill khaki shorts that hit just above the knee. Taped side seams, a subtle change pocket and sturdy construction to keep them in the rotation season after season.
Khaki Pants: Simple, slim-fit, 100% cotton twill with taped seams. All of the durability of the pants your father wore, but with ten times better fit. Details include a front coin button-flap and welted back pockets.
Signature All-Season Shell Parka: A versatile, minimalist look that you can depend on year-round. Built and lined with classic 60/40 cotton/nylon fabric. Khaki outer, olive lining. A quick front vertical zip for easy access, sizable front side-entry pockets and button-snap closures. Regular fit, medium cut.

Plaid Shirt: 100% 2-ply cotton plaid buttondown. Slim, tailored fit. Button down collar and cuffs. Chest pocket.
Exclusive Kickstarter Rewards
Collaboration is very important to us, so we’ve worked with 3 different artists--all close friends of the digz family--to create exciting new pieces to share with you.
digz/Julie Goldstein ’32’ Woodblock Tee: Talented multimedia artist Julie Goldstein helped us produce a limited number of woodblock tees to commemorate our launch. Tapping into our roots, the shirts give a big shout-out to '32'--the go-to number of Tim McWilliams, the brother and friend who inspired us to pursue this dream. Julie’s work has appeared in shows around the world and in "Hanging Five," a film about artists who all happen to be surfers. Learn more about Julie here.
"Winter View" -- Original 8.5” x 11” Chris Pfeil Print: Chris Pfeil is an acclaimed photographer who lives the simple life in Barnegat Light, the northern part of Long Beach Island, NJ. His work has appeared in The Surfers Journal and many other surf-related publications. For our Kickstarter, Chris has produced an exclusive print run of his gorgeous "Winter View" (seen below). See more of his work here.

Limited Edition J.B. Boyd Seascape Print: A graduate of Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts, J.B. Boyd paints breathtakingly beautiful landscapes and natural scenes. He’s created 3 limited-edition seascape prints for us--you'll choose the one you like best, though it's first-come-first-serve. These high-quality, conservation-mounted prints are set under glass to protect their vibrant colors. Boyd currently lives on Goat Island in the coastal marshes outside of Charleston, South Carolina. His work has been featured in publications like American Art Collector and Interior Design Magazine. Learn more about Boyd here.
Risks and challenges
With manufacturing, there are always potential roadblocks when it comes to timing and quality. We have been working with a very experienced team on the West Coast, however, to help us design our line and source production here in the U.S. from the best of the best. We began this process back in May of 2012, and have treaded carefully to leave very little room for error. Should any issues arise, we will remain hyper-communicative with all backers to keep you posted every step of the way.
We are dedicated to you as both backers and future customers, and are committed to making your experience with us as smooth and joyful as possible.
