About this project
Power Anything. Anywhere.
Gone are the days when tethering yourself to a wall for electricity is the norm— with GoPlug Bags, you truly can power anything. Anywhere.
No other products have worked this well together.
Let's face it,
Sometimes you need a bag. Sometimes you just need power. Sometimes you need both!

PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT US
Cord pass-throughs, cable organizers and accessory pockets have been designed to house any accessory. Soft, high-quality faux fur lines both tablet pockets located in the main compartment of the bag as well the side laptop compartment.
Removable Docking Station
Every detail has been engineered and reengineered — size, weight, materials, functionality, design, quality, and most important safety!
Two Hidden RFID Pockets
High quality reversed zippers and thin-post zipper pulls offer form and function.
These side pockets are expandable with a mesh webbing can be easily used to hold water bottles.
It’s pretty well understood that water and electronics don’t mix. Exterior fabric on our bags is coated with a water resistant backing as well as treated with a hydro-phobic shield. If that’s not enough, we’ve also included a water repellant rain cover for those unexpected downpours.
We're Ready To Go!
All the sampling is done! Manufactures have been selected and are anxiously awaiting to produce your bags. Once the funding goal has been achieved, production will begin.
The bag will have two color options available. You will select one type after the project closes.

This is not GoPlugs first campaign. We've been on this journey for a while. July of 2014 GoPlug had a successful campaign of an early iteration of this product. Due to issues with manufacturing and safety of the product, Josh made the difficult decision to cancel the campaign and give those who wanted a refund their money back. Additionally, he included interest on their money of 2.5% to those backers who opted for a refund. You can read the update about the difficult decision to cancel the original project here (LINK).
GoPlug is dedicated to making a game changing quality product-- we've made mistakes, however, we're learned and grew from past failures... it won't happen again! Josh committed not to launch another campaign until every aspect of the product was correct and production ready. Countless hours, and a lots of personal money, have gone towards R&D-- we're ready to go!!!
It started with an integrated system and evolved into a versatile and modular system.
Once we finalized design, we needed to select a factory to build the bag and electronics. This wasn't an easy endeavor! Our new factory has years of experience manufacturing similar technologies. We wanted the best factory to build GoPlug, and I'm confident we've found them!
We had over a dozen bag factories produce samples of GoPlug Bags. As with the power bank, we wanted the best bag manufacturer to produce this bag. Again, I'm confident we've found them. They bring years of experience and expertise to GoPlug.
Risks and challenges
Safety Risks – Merging textiles with electricity can be difficult, and safety needs to be a top priority. In order to follow all safety standards and create the best possible product, we could end up behind schedule.
Design Risks – This product is the first of its kind. We’re not reinventing the wheel… we’re inventing it! We will create the best bag in the world, using the best textile designers on the planet. This may take some time.
Also, we may not be able to deliver the exact bag designs and electronic specifications as advertised on this project. We will try our best, and hope if anything changes, they will be improvements!
TSA Approval – Going through airport security is already difficult. We don’t want to produce a bag that will make this process more difficult. We may have to jump through some hoops to get this done right the first time.
Fulfillment – These bags will be produced in high volume overseas. We guarantee a high quality product, and if the final product off the assembly line is anything less, we will decline the order. We will demand the finest materials and product for the best price.
Acts of God – Not everything can be predicted , but this title should cover any unforeseeable snags in development.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
