About this project
We already have a marketer/distributor for the game. They have a long track record of doing that and a solid reputation. The funds raised by this website will be used specifically to pay them to do what they do.
The basic design was modeled on another math game called Equate that was based on Scrabble. Seeing that game years ago sparked the original plan for this game. That game sparks applies the Scrabble concept to prealgebra so the idea of using that type of analogy to help kids learn science spawned this game. It went through many design changes to land on the current one. I also considered the history of Scrabble itself. That game was invented during the depression but didn't become marketable until after the second world war. It clearly created an incentive for kids to learn to read as that helped them become better players. Competition tends to generate interest where there is none so I figured the same reaction may happen with teaching science. I was right with my own classes as well as colleagues of mine so I hope the same thing happens with yours. With any luck, perhaps a second Apollo program is in our future. It appears Space X is on the right track for that.
You will receive one complete game for a pledge of $25 and 4 complete games for a pledge of $100 so please help us reach our goal as quickly as possible to get this game into the marketplace as soon as possible. Thank you.
