About Jekyll Brewing...
Jekyll Brewing is a small craft brewery scheduled to open in the Alpharetta, Georgia market in Spring 2013. As a micro-brewery in Georgia, this means that we brew hand crafted beers on site, package into kegs and sell the kegs to distributors for distribution to the stores, restaurants and bars. Due to Georgia law, we cannot sell beer onsite, but we can provide educational tours and tastings. Our location is at the north end of the Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta, Georgia. Being near the Greenway lends well to people visiting on foot, bike or skateboard. This location will also lead to visits from our many corporate neighbors in the Windward area of Alpharetta.
Jekyll Brewing is inspired directly from the South’s rich history, relaxed lifestyle and brewing traditions. Jekyll Island, Georgia was the location of the first brewery of the Deep South in 1738, and now Jekyll Brewing is proud to be the first brewery located in Alpharetta, Georgia.
As Founder, I am fortunate to be partnered by award winning Brew Master and Co-Owner, Josh Rachel, whose creative direction brings a line up of brew styles that will cover the entire spectrum of global craft beers. Together, we are intensely focused on creating sophisticated hand-crafted beers from the finest ingredients.
This is just the beginning. We have a passion for the art of creating great beer, a love of the comradery of the craft beer industry, and a desire to share it all with you.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
We are committed to opening Jekyll Brewing as quickly as possible. We've ordered equpitment, our lease is signed and build out is underway. We must act fast to get the brewery up and running.
However, we are dependent on federal, state and local licensing to open. We've started this process but, we have almost no control over how long it may take.
Remember, Kickstarter is an all or nothing project. If we don't make our goal within the allotted timeframe, your pledge is not charged to you.
All projects involve risk, but we've taken steps to minimize them as best as possible. We want to assure you that you will never be dissapointed as a Backer of Jekyll Brewing.... It is go-time!
