James has been a NYC-based photographer for the past fifteen years. He returned to New Orleans to recharge his batteries and in the wake of Katrina, he fled the city with his family, like so many others. When he returned to NOLA to reclaim his family's belongings, he saw, of course, the absolute devastation, but he saw hope as well. Through his work he captures the hope of NOLA.
