hey Charles Thanks so much for the update, I was going to buy the game again since i have a bad habit of loosing my goods lol, but you might see my comment on desura about you and a weclome to the glory of store digital :).

    2. Charles DeYoe Creator on September 17, 2013

Indeed I will! Expect an update later today or tomorrow! :D

    3. Duffadash on September 17, 2013

Will you be sending out Desura keys now that UQ is available there?

    4. Eric on May 11, 2013

I enjoyed playing Unemployment Quest :)

    5. Insaney on March 9, 2013

Am so sorry I forgot to leave feedback. =< I got my copy around August last year. Thank you so much for it mister DeYoe! I love it! =D

    6. Christoph "Sicarius" Licht on August 7, 2012

My copy reached Germany today in mint condition -> . No problems with customs either. Thanks.

I just found this turn based RPG on Kickstarter: It's called Vita Umbra - The Life of Shadows. It looks like a pretty interesting game, despite it's extremely low fundraising goal. The 2 songs for the game that have been posted so far, are shockingly good.

    8. coilercard on August 2, 2012

Thanks! Just received the phyiscal copy! Looks Awesome and the game is awesome!

    9. David Sherman on August 1, 2012

    10. gunnergreg on July 29, 2012

Got my physical copy in the mail yesterday. I'll probably never open it, and only play the downloaded version, but I'm still pleased at the turnaround. I've been backing a small pile of Kickstarters and this is the second (after Order of the Stick) to deliver the physical goods. From completion on 5/20 to delivery 7/23, that's some good speed there. :)

unemployment quest was a short and very fun game. A new funded zombie-survival RPG is closing in six days and could really use your support. CHECK out DEAD STATE and help fund another GREAT game!!

    13. SinoSamba <(-'.'-)> on June 18, 2012

Just finished the game and thought it was very fun. Also I would back a Kickstarter for "Underemployment Quest" in a heartbeat. You could make it a series :)

    14. Colin Vesper on June 18, 2012

I can verify that this runs with Vine on a mac.

Just completed the game verry nice with all the fights leading right up to the end boss fight verry good story line, only things that annoyed me a little where that you cant get to the boss area with out a ship so you cant make your way via land and when you wanted to recover from magic like HP theres no indication of how much it regenerates but all in all a verry good game, can not wait to play the woes of underemployment game thanks for a fun game.

    16. Sean L. on June 16, 2012

Very fun game, and also about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to beat. Buying potions helped in the end... lol I also thought Underemployment quest might be fun.... Maybe for the next project?

    17. Eric on June 16, 2012

Hey Great game! Just sat through the whole game beat it in about 2.2hours! It was good I look forward to Underemploment quest! (I know it was a joke but would still be fun)

      Thanks for the game!
      ~Eric R.

I finished the game last night, in one continuous shot. Great job. The creative is very inventive. I was very addicted. It's probably for the best that it wasn't too long :). I was impressed with the quality of everything. I second the other poster below that I would love to back another of your projects.

    21. Josh "Slosh" Soutar on June 16, 2012

Am sitting down and playing the game now ... drinking a beer ... while the kids nap ... You have done a fantastic job ... Anything that you do in the future ... I would love to contribute ....

I'm really enjoying the game! Can't wait to get the CD copy :)

    29. Devon Rampe on June 15, 2012

This game is fun! I just need to figure out how to make the windowed screen larger, or how to stop the full screen from stretching on my widescreen monitor...

    30. Josh on June 15, 2012

I'm really enjoying the game =D

    31. Max Malm on June 15, 2012

Downloaded it and tried it for a few minutes (have to go to work now). It looks REALLY good.

    32. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 15, 2012

All right! I've sent everyone who's backed the project at the $5 or higher level a download link for the game. Now I'm going to bed and will be updating the website so that people can buy the game in the morning! I'll be posting a big update as well!

Glad you're liking it so far! (As for the dad blocking the doorway, lot of the characters have random movements, so that's possible a possible annoyance. They'll move away eventually though.)

    33. Jaime R. Maldonado on June 15, 2012

So far so good! Loving my first attack skill. "Firm Handshake?" Brilliant.

Only bug/bother was the my father got himself stuck on the exit of my house so I couldn't leave unless I went back upstairs and went back down.

    34. SinoSamba <(-'.'-)> on June 15, 2012

Thank you for the game! And right on time. The first finished game I get from Kickstarter =D

    35. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 14, 2012

Thanks for the heads up! (It's fixed.)

    36. Brian Watzig on June 14, 2012

on the website you talk about a game called Cult: Awakening, I just wanted to let you know that the address you have for it is missiong the end part of it ( you were missing --> -of-the-old-ones

    37. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 13, 2012

Yep! The game is totally DRM free.

    38. Brian Watzig on June 13, 2012

oh question, for the digital copy can i install it on multiple computers?? reason I ask is i would put it on my desktop and my laptop. (then again i could just install it on a thumb drive)

    39. Brian Watzig on June 13, 2012

      2 days to go :D

    40. Brian Watzig on June 10, 2012

the anticipation is killing me, lol

    41. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 10, 2012

I would, but it's up to Valve, not me! I'll just be sending backers a download link for the final game.

    42. Gilbert Palau on June 10, 2012

Are you going to make the game available through Steam?

    43. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 7, 2012

I'll be asking for addresses once I actually have the CDs (so I'll be sure they're all accurate, in case anyone ends up moving).

    44. John Falcon
      on June 7, 2012

Are you sending out a survey to get the address for mailings of the hardcopy?

    45. Ross Smith on June 7, 2012

I'm so excited this is finally happening; all I can say is thank you! I just managed to find a job myself after being unemployed for 8 months, so I can relate to the subject matter, as I've battled both self doubt and depression in that time. I'm just glad that there is a game that could help other people understand those feelings!

    46. Charles DeYoe Creator on June 3, 2012

So close to the final version!
I'm hoping to order CDs this week. It's exciting!

    47. RamesGamesLC on June 3, 2012

      getting closer... :D

Sweet! Another reason to find my Windows Xbox controller in the box of miscellaneous tech stuff.

    49. Charles DeYoe Creator on May 24, 2012

Jason Clark: Sorry I missed your previous comment before now!
There will be controller support, in addition to keyboard controls.
