A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.

At the end of 2017, Craft Planner took Kickstarter by storm, raising $29,000 in just 34 days. Since then it has helped many people achieve their goals, mainly because it boosted their productivity thanks to its week-by-week design. But there is so much more this planner can do for you. The best thing about it is its versatility, which can be expressed briefly as “the balance in the imbalance”.
Life is in a constant state of flux. Our needs and obligations change according to our circumstances, which in turn depend on the role we have to play; student, athlete, employee, employer, parent, and so on. The key to success is one word: Balance. Thus, we must constantly adjust and adapt to the mayhem that comes with life, in order to find balance in the imbalance.
The Craft Planner is designed to help those who are convinced that it’s impossible to strike a balance between work and life. It aims to be the instrument that will help you adapt to the chaotic circumstances of daily life while doing your best to achieve your goals. In other words, find balance within the imbalance.
Think about it: working takes a part of your time as well, so why not make the most of it? Do work that you like and can be proud of, not just because you have to. When you try your best and keep challenging yourself, you are more likely to find balance and success.
For these reasons, I decided to redesign the Craft Planner in a way that makes it even easier to monitor your tasks & goals. Now, your plan for the entire week is laid out in front of you, spanning 2 pages instead of 4. Plus, we’ve managed to make it even lighter, so its portability has increased substantially; you can literally take it anywhere with you.
Thanks to the backers of our first Kickstarter campaign, we were able to bring the Craft Planner to life. Although the project was an enormous success, we received several suggestions from our followers that inspired a lot of improvements to our original design, making the Craft Planner even better. On the other hand, being a start-up company still, we need all the support we can get in order to continue making better Craft Planners and sharing them with as many people as possible.
Unfortunately, print projects like this need to fund their orders in full, and they are only cost-effective after reaching a certain threshold in volume. So, we are in the process of evaluating the interest in another Craft Planner Kickstarter campaign to try and see if it can collect enough pre-orders to make this a reality.
To this end, we have decided to support Plan Internationalby donating AUD $1 for every planner sold, thus helping underprivileged children in the developing world to learn, act, lead and thrive. Thus, the Craft Planner will not only help you achieve your goals, but it will also help hundreds of children to realize their own dreams.
The New Craft Planner measures 5.8” x 8.4” (A5 size) with the premium & sleek design of the leatherette cover. It is printed on high-quality, 70gsm lightweight cream paper (New!), giving the same opacity, thickness and quality as the standard 100gsm paper for 30% less weight. Coupled with a minimalistic design that keeps distractions away, the New Craft Planner lets you focus on the task at hand.
People always come to me saying that planning is so boring. They prefer spending their time doing business. I actually agree with that notion, doing is a much more productive way to spend your time than planning, which has pushed me to reconsider the place of planning in the grand scheme of things.
Most people hate planning because they believe that reality is so fluid that their plans fail to keep up with it, rendering it irrelevant. Thus, all the time spent on planning is considered wasted.
However, it’s equally important to note why planning still has a place in our lives:
1) It lets us know if we keep our priorities straight
We are always very busy with lots of stuff in the pipeline, but we have to make sure that the most important of them are always at the top. Otherwise, we won’t be able to achieve any goal.
It helps avoid wasting more time than we should on less important tasks.
2) It teaches us the value of teamwork
You can’t have fruitful cooperation without proper coordination. Sharing tasks and goals is a crucial element of successful teamwork.
A good plan is one that binds these elements together. Planning allows for cooperation to lead to successful outcomes.
3) It allows for flexibility when unplanned events happen
It’s only natural for predictions to fall short. There is always a gap between prediction and reality.
What’s more, the project’s demands may change as things evolve, so it is important to be able to change our planning according to the new data.
The Craft Planner is specifically designed for people who feel that normal plans fail to catch up with the required changes every single time. We have created a weekly layout for task planning, which allows for flexible in-plan changes while keeping the original goals intact. This will help you stay focused while protecting your plan from going off-track due to life’s normal everyday fluctuations.
President Eisenhower once said: "In preparing for battle, I have always found that plans are useless but planning is indispensable" Finally, to share with you, you want continuous planning, not just having a plan at the beginning.
You get excited about planning your goals, but you have tons of stuff to do as part of your daily routine. A few days after you start your planning, you give up, frustrated by how much work you have left to do. You were so optimistic before, but now, you are losing sight of that goal that had meant so much to you.
The difference between a typical planner and the Craft Planner is the features. While a typical planner is set up for you to simply schedule your daily tasks, it will mess you up in the long run. The Craft Planner, on the other hand, makes it possible for you to schedule your daily tasks easily and to focus on your goals.
One principle: Only focus on one goal at a time (Instead of starting two different businesses at the same time). In this way, it is possible to persevere and help you to achieve a bigger goal.
As for the trivial things, such as reading news, reading novels, and exercise, it’s OK to multi-task if it makes you happy. However, for those greater investments of time and effort, such as starting a new business, learning a new language or publishing a book, the one-goal-at-a-time principle is guaranteed to lead you to success.
The Craft Planner is the perfect planner. It only requires 2 easy steps to lead to successful goal planning so you can reach your goals as soon as possible. The New Craft Planner available in 2 different formats: Vertical Layout (New!) & Horizontal Layout Design.
80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Why spend 80% on planning for only 20% of success, when you can have it the other way around?

With fixed layouts, you usually end up with too much-wasted space.
When you use the fixed layout, you have:
Limited space for your planning
Limited space for your writing
Limited space for your sketching
Too much space wasted
But when you use the Craft Planner, you gain:
Flexibility to plan as you please
Large empty space for your writing
Free blank space for your sketching
Minimum space wastage
We designed a flexible layout for the Craft Planner to equip it with a large empty space that will easily suit your needs. Customize your Weekly Planner layout according to your individual needs to form the perfect planner.
