Now that the book is funded we want to increase the overall value of the production quality by adding a slick UV gloss to the cover that will make certain aspects of it really pop. To do that MONSTROSITY needs to reach a stretch goal of $6000. This six grand will get us the UV gloss finish as well as allow us to up the print run of MONSTROSITY II.
MONSTROSITY II is the follow up to last years indie anthology sensation. This volume continues the monster/horror theme of the original but this time adds a distinct sci-fi twist while holding onto all the things fans loved about the first book. Genetic abominations, robot gladiators, alien experimentation, intergalactic STD’s and a whole lot more!
Monstrosity II has over 20 heart stopping tales created by more then 40 of indie comic's greatest young talents. Action, adventure, alien worlds, demons and devils, science fiction and fantasy all grace the pages of Monstrosity II!
If helping us out financially isn’t an option you can still lend a tremendous hand in other ways. Spread the word about Monstrosity II on your blogs, through Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, you name it, we love it. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
Risks and challenges
Brian Evinou and I have, between us, over a decade of experience in self-publishing independent comics. There is no risk factor in this fundraiser as this monstrous tome is near completion and looks bloody brilliant!
This is our first Kickstarter but third crowd funding campaign. We started with Horror in the West in 2012 through Indie Go Go and followed that up with Monstrosity in 2013.
We’re from Canada, so this is our first opportunity to bring a project to you through Kickstarter. We’re extremely excited to be here today!
This fundraiser is designed to raise money for the print run and shipping of the book! If we're successful reaching our campaign goal, Brian and I have stretch goals designed to improve the overall quality of the print production, print additional books, and most importantly provide a small thank you payment to the creative teams for their tireless efforts because without them there would be no book.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
