I love the concept you've got Kevin, way to go! I've pledged $30 and am embarrassed to say I didn't see where to include my t-shirt size. Its XL by the way. Looking forward to the day I can buy one of your surfboards in the local shops!

      Hey Jack,
The foam I use in my boards is made from recycled surfboards as well as other styrofoam and plastic products. I don't make this foam in house though, it is made by a surfboard blank manufacturer. I'll be fabricating/recycling debris into the skin of the surfboards as well as the fins.

I'm a selling my hand planes on a custom order basis and will be supplying them to local Rhode Island shops in the next couple months. Thanks!

Kevin - are you able to recycle foam/resin from standard surfboards? Could you apply the same principle to say skis? I was thinking about this the other day. I love surfing, hence why I love your idea, but skiing is my sport. Some of the brands are going back to wood cores and there is one ski with a bamboo stringer. I have a bit of a dream of setting up an eco-outdoor e-store.... !! Finally are you selling your hand planes anywhere else?!
