Wanted Earth takes place in the not-so-distant future, where multiple alien races are trying to conquer Earth. Players will have the option to play as these invading factions if they choose to not play as a hero.
The first faction released in the base game set are the Goigons - an alien race resembling salamanders who wander from system to system harnessing and depleting suns.
The player controlling the Goigons will have the opportunity to play as one of the two Underlords:
- Wata - A Goigon lieutenant with a power solar rifle capable of picking off players from long range.
- Baskk - A hulking Goigon that becomes more and more powerful with each additional round.
After the sixth round, the faction Overlord will rain down from the sky. The Overlord is typically the most powerful faction unit and is controlled directly by the faction player.
Players will have an additional six rounds of play once the Overlord appears. If the heroes manage to defeat the Overlord within six rounds, the invasion will be stopped. If the heroes run out of time, or if they all die in battle, Earth will be forfeit.
Will you be the one who defends Earth? Or will you be the one to destroy it?
All modes of Wanted Earth consist of twelve rounds.
In the original mode for 2-4 players, the heroes have six rounds of play to prepare to battle the enemy Overlord, followed by six rounds to defeat him/her. The Faction wins by killing all the heroes or keeping the Overlord alive through the 12th round.
In the PvP mode for 3-7 players, the heroes not only need to defeat the Overlord, but another team of 3 heroes! The Faction wins by killing both hero teams or keeping the Overlord alive through the 12th round.
In the Solo/Campaign mode for 1-3 players, the heroes use the 12 rounds to complete objectives and ultimately destroy the Faction portal to win the game! The Faction is controlled by the game itself!
In the faction vs faction mode (this last mode is only available with the expansion), fight as aliens vs aliens to take over Earth.
To start, players will pick from diverse cast of characters:
For the first six rounds of the original and PvP modes, players will use and combine their unique abilities to defend themselves from waves of enemies commanded by an alien Underlord.
The base game comes with a two-sided board!
As heroes defeat enemies, they'll obtain credits which are used to purchase new items and equipment. Use your hero abilities to gain every advantage possible. Solve enigmas to buy yourself extra time or bring in new heroes if one has died.
Do whatever it takes to prepare yourself for the arrival of the enemy Overlord - a formidable enemy that will challenge even the best equipped players.
Once the enemy Overlord appears, players will have an additional six rounds of play. Defeat the Overlord and the heroes win. If all of the heroes are killed in battle, or time runs out, then the battle for Earth will be lost. Will you be the one defending Earth? Or will you be the one who destroys it?
In the single player and co-op mode, the heroes objective is to solve all six enigmas (one appears each round) and then destroy the Faction portal before the end of the 12th round.
Whenever a hero kills a Faction unit, they gain an enigma card. When the heroes have one of each of the enigma cards, they can solve an enigma.
Faction units are placed on the board at the beginning of each new round just like in the original and PvP versions, but the exact units that appear are determined by drawing Faction unit cards and spawn at the portal and randomly on the board using the d24! On their turn, they move to attack heroes that are in range or move to a defensive position at the enigma closest to the heroes.
Ultimately, heroes must destroy the well-armored portal after solving all the enigmas. They don't need to defeat the Overlord but the Overlord will still be there to defend the portal!

This rulebook is a work in progress and as such still has editing to be done and art, layout, graphics, and other aspects will be improved upon and changed.
Pinck - A pretty normal guy until he was abducted by aliens, probed, and without consent, given a powerful robotic arm. With this arm, he is a master at controlling movement on the board.

Liefie - A mysterious half-human alien prince, who is on an odyssey to save his mother from the Goigon invasion. His unique ability to glitch in and out of existence, allows him to disappear and reappear all over the board.

Eddie and his wife Anneke (pictured above with their two children James and Natalie) have loved games their entire lives in all forms. However, they had never played a miniature boardgame before, and honestly didn't really care to try until a friend brought over one of his favorite miniature board games and invited them to play. Instantly they were hooked! Since Eddie had been creating his own worlds in his head since he was a boy, thinking of the Wanted Earth world was effortless and he soon realized that his ideas in his mind could potentially become something great. He started working on Wanted Earth and as time passed his friend Phil joined him and they started to gain real traction. Finally, and after many talented and supportive people joined our now amazing team, here we are and the dream that Eddie had is what you see here.
Phil and his wife Erin have played board games since they first met, their first experience coming when they battled with Erin's brother in a game of Risk. The way that first game ended is still a source of debate to this day. Phil is an equal opportunity board gamer, enjoying everything from Monopoly and Chess to Werewolf and Catan. Anything that brings people to the table to have a great time! When Eddie shared the world and vision for Wanted Earth with Phil, he knew this was a game that people would love and has enjoyed helping bring it to life.
Risks and challenges
Wanted Earth is nearly finished and we have an agreement with a manufacturer to produce the game. The biggest challenge is the miniatures. We have been printing them using Shapeways for a year and are working with 3D artists and the manufacturer to make sure they are of the best quality.
The other potential challenges are any delays in manufacturing and/or shipping that happen with many projects. Any such delays will be clearly communicated with backers and will be solved using our partners both in manufacturing and fulfillment. These partners have extensive experience in making sure projects are completed. We are building in some extra time on the delivery date to account for any such challenges that may occur.
We also have a refund policy where once you receive your game, if you are not fully satisfied with the game, you can return the it to us and we will give you a full refund for the price you paid for the game.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
