Matthew Rettenmund is the author of the novels BOY CULTURE and BLIND ITEMS: A (LOVE) STORY, as well as the non-fiction books ENCYCLOPEDIA MADONNICA 20 and TOTALLY AWESOME '80s, among others. He was the founding EIC of the teen-entertainment magazine POPSTAR! and was its publisher for 14 years. His first memoir, STARF*CKER, was published in 2015, and he co-wrote a book with RuPAUL'S DRAG RACE star Alaska. He has blogged at BoyCulture.com for nearly 12 years.
