Thank you, I managed to watch the video at last and was truly moved! God bless you all, it was so wonderful to see the children hope, strive, and blossom. Thank you - in a world so full of darkness you are a ray of light! Keep going!

THANK YOU, thank you, thank you for asking Fordela to send me a new link so I could access the film. It was an extremely inspiring and emotional experience to do so and I pretty much cried from start to finish of it. I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to support you in the making of this film and it far exceeded my expectations. Many congratulations to you and above all to everyone involved in the spirit that is this orchestra. The world needs so many more like Fabio Chavez and Don Cola to remind them to never stop dreaming.

So sorry to have missed the opportunity to view the film via the link that you sent. There was just way too much going on. Hope to be able to watch the film at a later point. Thank you for the updates and good like in securing a distribution contract.

I watched the documentary with my wife and two grandsons. It was beyond question a moving, emotional experience. I am so glad that my two grandsons were able to see how others outside our community live and the joy they find in using "garbage" with creativity and craftsmanship. They were amazed at how much can be done with so very little; if done with love and perseverance. Thank you for a memorable evening with my grandsons.

I loved the documentary. Had no problems with the online screening. By the way, are you going to show it on the IDFA, in Amsterdam?

Thanks for your update. I missed the opportunity to see it in the window this month, but look forward to the next opportunity when it is possible. I am not impatient! The most important thing are the people involved, and letting the film reach as wide a public as possible. Well done for all efforts to date. x

My teenage daughter and I watched the beautiful film you created and found it extremely powerful. What a humbling experience to be part of a bigger purpose and to watch these young people creating gorgeous music from other people's cast-offs in the midst of extremely difficult circumstances. Don't let the negative comments affect you; you've been wonderful about keeping us updated. At my last count, you'd sent 30 updates--more than I've ever received on any project. I have appreciated each one; it's been so interesting to follow you along the way. And, although it caused an added delay, you had to add the footage with the floods last year; it was concerning to see the homes destroyed and know that the water people were wading through held refuse and chemicals from the landfill. This will definitely add to the viewers' understanding of the reality people are living in in Paraguay. You've done an outstanding job and I wish you--and those involved with the Landfillharmonic--continued success.

Dear Team, Thanks for ALL your Hard Work. Just say a Prayer for those folks who are complainers. They must be very Unhappy People to be so petty. I"m not as technological as most folks so I still use CD's for my music etc. I did try to do the download thing but it didn't work so I just figured it was due to using an OLD computer and am happy to wait for the CD. YES, I DO REMEMBER WHY I became a Backer and IT WAS TO HELP YOU AND THE KIDS. I HOPE WE WILL ALL REMEMBER THAT. Please don't let the FEW Complainers Dampen Your Spirits. Know that THE MAJORITY of Backers are Cheering You On. Please Let THAT Be Your Focus. The World needs more Good People like You and the Kids to Help Raise the Good Energies on the Planet ... Peace and Love ... Jill M. of http://www.AmericanHandmade.com

Please remember... Negatives accumulate. One hundred letters of appreciation can be negated by one scathing post. Keep that in mind, keep the faith, looking forward to the next step in the process. Thank you!

Looking forward to seeing the online screening. I'm surprised and saddened to hear that people have been writing in to complain and demand that they get their rewards. As a person who has had a kickstarter campaign myself, I was unable to deliver the products at the scheduled date even though I tried my very best. Many things went wrong in the process of producing my album and that slowed down the production significantly. In spite of being a year and a half behind schedule, not one backer complained at all, I was so anxious about being behind time on the rewards and disappointing my backers, but they all showed me so much grace and generousity. Would like to ask all backers to extend that same grace to Landfillharmonic that my backers have to me, it's really not easy fulfilling all the rewards, especially when you have a small team to do it all. Please be patient and know that your support would mean so much more if you could bear with the waiting period and other hiccups more kindly and patiently.

Heartwarming. Wonderfully positive. Five star production, especially in audio throughout, and in CU photography which brings you right into the story. Beautifully done. How can this group get you the funding you need and so richly deserve?

The movie is beautiful. It made me laugh and cry and rejoice to see these young people perform with their rock heroes and all around the world. What you have accomplished is amazing, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to view the movie.

Please dismiss all 'disinterested' feedback. I saw the film last night and was so moved with all aspects of the film you have produced. It was beautifully done. The picture was clear as can be, sound was good & the subtitles were not lost. Translation was excellent too. I was envious of all the lucky people who have seen these incredible musicians & the man that has been the glue to this orchestra "El maestro" in concert!! What an honour to be a part of this incredible story from the beginning. I thank you all for that and I am truly humbled.
Keep up the good work ❤️

I had some difficulty getting the film to run but I had some help from family and with some perseverance was able to watch. Amongst other issues I found if I reduced the resolution the movie played without so many stops. My family really enjoyed Landfill Harmonic and it's impossible not to care about the kids, their families and supporters. I was really smart to include the parents. I wonder where everyone is now. Without preaching, it makes me think of poverty and excess...how can I bring more justice. I feel a longing to connect with these beautiful spirits. Thank you for sharing your vision, your music, your stories. The Jewish chanukah manorah or candelabra has one candle separate from the others. It is lit first and it is used to light the others. It is called the shamus and from what I understand that translates as "servant." It is a beautiful metaphor for what it means to be a leader; a servant of the community. The teacher is a beautiful shamus; he's lit so many candles and brought light to lives and more light to the world. I want to keep my face turned to the light. We are exposed to so much darkness I sometimes forget the difference that one candle can make.

I have to say I'm confused. I backed at the level for a digital download. There are zero distribution costs. You put a torrent on your computer and seed it to us backers and we distribute the film. You can even put a password on it if you like and email it to any backers.

This is the 21st century and there's absolutely no reason to waste time (and resources of the planet) putting things out on discs any more.

I was able to watch this amazing film with no problems. Tears flowed often, I was so moved by all that was achieved by the young people and the inspired people who made instruments out of rubbish and brought music into their lives, and the film makers who created this record of their achievements. . I feel honoured to have been able to contribute in a tiny way to such a life changing project. I told a friend in Toronto about it when it was shown at the film festival there. She would otherwise not have seen it but was so glad to have done so. I hope you can get the publicity going to make this film watched really widely, once it is released.

So glad I took the time to watch. Amazing! So powerful!! Can't wait to show it at my school here in Fairfax VA! Hoping my local theater will want to screen it as well.

I've just finished viewing the movie... it's wonderful. Hard to watch some of the scenes with the actual garbage/landfill but that's the reality behind all of this. The kids are all so enjoyable to watch and listen to, polite, hardworking, dedicated amid many hardships for them and their families. The whole experience is so inspiring to watch - tears many times during the movie. God Bless all involved - especially Favio. Thank you for this opportunity to view it.
