About Taylor Reels
I am a fly fishing fanatic based out of Albuquerque, N.M. I have spent the last year designing and creating my very own fly fishing reel. I believe that my reels stand toe to toe with some of the best reels on the market today. When you fish a Taylor Reel, you can be confident that you are fishing the best. We have a simple vision, provide a quality product at an affordable price. All our reels are machined from bar stock aluminum and anodized to provide a custom look and feel. We are currently offering reels in two colors and two sizes: copper, black, 3-4, and 5-6.

I am an avid fly fisherman who has the heart of an entrepreneur. As you probably know most fly fishing products can have a hefty price tag. Most fisherman on a budget have to choose between a low priced cheaply made fly reel or a high end expensive product. I wanted to try and create my very own custom reel for my own personal use. Once I started designing the reel, I thought to myself that people may desire to purchase these. My plan was to try and create a product that was both affordable and of the same quality as the high end reels. After months of effort and refining my design I came up with the first ever Taylor Reel.
Production of the reels requires capital, so we need your help to make it happen! If successful, funds will be used to purchase our first batch of reels. $5,000 is the minimum required to purchase these reels with all expenses. With your help we can reach this goal and launch the very first Taylor Reel!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
My biggest risk is not being able to fund the project. I need at least the minimum of $5,000 to get started.
There is a possibility of delays in the manufacturing. I have done everything possible to avoid this and do not anticipate any delays, but in the instance that a delay does happen I will keep all backers informed through frequent communication.
