i just left another email about my top, monitor arm and AI unit that I'm still waiting for. Please get back to me soon with a delivery status. I've emailed with Justin a month ago and he assured me it would be sent straight away, haven't heard anything since. Please reopen communication on this.
Is anyone else having trouble with the speaker? In my current setup I have to plug/unplug it to charge it. The connector seems very flimsy and after a few uses I'm unable to charge the speaker anymore since the connector on the speaker is now damaged :/

So, I just received my AI box a few days ago - we finally put together my desk yesterday. The pre-drilled holes in the desktop for the frame did not quite fit where they were supposed to, but luckily, we had a cordless drill and were able to put starter holes where they needed to be. Other than that, the desk, the accessories, and the AI box all went together beautifully. Except...The RJ11 cord that is supposed to run from the AI box to the control box does not quite reach where it needs to. It needs about 2-3 inches to properly plug into the correct hole in the control box.
So, at this point, the desk motion works great, as does the USB charger, but I suspect the AI box isn't working the way it should yet (haven't really tested it yet, but considering the cord between the AI and control isn't plugged in yet...), and I haven't had a chance to test out the speaker or wireless charger, yet, as well as the other smarter features (I'm guessing those will be connected more to the AI box, though). I'll need to see if I can find a reasonably short extension cord to finish off that installation. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest - hopefully, it will surpass my expectations.
I just received my AI box. The box is much larger than I expected, about 7x10x3 inches. After brushing off the shards of packing foam I heard a rattling in the box, so I opened it up. Inside I found a Raspberry PI 2 B, a $15 USB powered speaker, some type of USB-audio adapter, and a USB-WiFi adapter. All the connectors are hot-glued together. The rattling was caused by the cover of the USB-audio adapter falling off and rattling loose in the box.
I haven't had a chance to try the "box" out, so I don't know how well it works yet. I'm hoping with access to the Raspberry Pi its possible to reverse engineer controlling the test.
My desk arrived damaged and Angelica has not responded to any of my messages asking for a replacement. In addition, my USB charger does not work. The desk was 6 months late as it was, and even then, Angelica refused to ship it for several weeks because she could not locate proof of payment even after I sent her an email in which SHE acknowledged receipt of payment AND the credit card statement that showed the purchase price. I am tremendously disappointed with the way customer service has ruined what would otherwise be a great product.
Hi, I still haven't heard from Angie regarding the missing components: bamboo top and monitor arm (and the AI box). See message 22 Feb. Could you please give me a status update.
Like I said before, it's not the waiting that I object to but the lack of communication. Thank you.
Please also double check the address. I have sent multiple emails to Angie about this in June & July 2015. It should have been changed in your system since we have moved house since the original pledge but please double check...

The full desk can be shipped out right away (with frame, top, smart keypad, speaker, wireless charging pad, headphone hooks, etc.). You can start using the desk right away. The only component that we can't ship out right away is the AI Box (personal assistant). We will ship the AI Box out to everyone from March 15-30. Thanks.

Everyone reading these comments, please double-check your parts inventory immediately upon receipt. Mine arrived without enough pads and I had to request more. Finally when I got to assembling it today, I discovered I was not given enough wood screws and probably not enough non-wood screws either. I have emailed and requested a complete supply of screws. Also for having ordered a Smart/AI/Deluxe model, I still have not yet received the AI component either. Thank you, Tom

Re: microSD card slot on the bluetooth speaker (for Pro/AI models only)
I just gave it a try by inserting an old 1GB microSD with some music files (pulled from an old mobile phone) and found it entered 'TF card music mode' and started to play music!! (IMPORTANT: make sure the gold pins of your TransFlash/microSD card facing to wider side of the black panel)
The downside - I could not find a way to control the music volume ("-" & "+" become "Prv" & "Nxt", "M" becomes "Stop", "M" plus any one of the other buttons to switch between 'TF card music mode' and 'bluetooth mode')
I think using bluetooth or line-in will be easier at this stage ;-)

Agree - it would be nice to have the user manual of the cool bluetooth speaker (for Pro/AI models only). Is there anyone who knows how the button "M" on the speaker works?
Hope the below helps:
1) the ports on the other side of the speaker are - microSD (for mp3 file playback? if I'm correct), Micro-B USB for charging, 3.5mm stereo line-in for external input
2) yes, it's on the desk instructions (13, p7) - to program up to four presets: use the up/down buttons to find a desired height, then press "M" followed by a number "1"-"4"
3) to be answered by creator Robotbase ; )
