The reason why, 6 years ago, I started making salads at my desk in the office was the lack of places where I could eat with no worries about the ingredients and the pleasure of a tasty meal.
I’ve been dreaming of a cafe that reflects the ideas and the philosophy of natural, simple and good looking food, that has a big impact on your health and well being and it's also fair, sustainable and local.
So I've given up my 15 years old career in graphic design and I decided to create my dream cafe.
I’ll put all my effort to find seasonal and ethically produced ingredients and artisans that make the best produce and they care about what they do.
I will create quality salads of course, but not just, I will do soups and plenty of beautiful things with plenty of veggie and vegan options and with a overall gluten free and refined sugar free offer.
I have found an incredible place inside Neal's Yard, Seven Dials, Covent Garden in London. The heritage of this little yard about conscious and ethical living is perfect match for me.
Now I need your help to renovate this place and make it a home for all conscious eaters and salad lovers in London.
Who am I?

My name is David Bez, in 2010 I started a blog called SaladPride when I decided to make one new salad at my desk in the office for 1 year, and I then carried over making them for more than 4.
2 years ago the best of all those recipes became a wonderful book published in many countries in the world.

The food.
We will serve fresh and quality salads of course, as I did in all this years, but not just, I will do incredibly innovative "salad soups" and plenty of beautiful sides like smoothies, crackers and cakes and with a lot of veggie and vegan options and an overall gluten free and refined sugar free offer.
I will also serve one of the best quality coffee in London (Caravan) and I'll use the best british quality producers, from the beans to the dairy, from the veggies to the fruits, from the seaweeds to the mushrooms.

Salads and Smoothies.

Soups.

Take away and cakes
The gluten free and sugar free cakes will be supplied by WhollyCakes (yum!).
The place.
It's a dream to be inside Neal's Yard. Not just because it's in the hearth of Seven Dials, Coven Garden, London, but also because of the ethos and the history of the yard about healthy living.
The Plan.
The renovation is going to be based on reclaimed wood, a lot of preloved and refurbished apple crates and scaffold boards, herb pots and warm lights.

Now I need your help to renovate this place and
make it a home for all conscious eaters and salad lovers in London.
Your money will go in the renovation and in all the appliances we need buy to run the cafe.
Please pledge and share, let's make this happen together.
Thank you
David
Risks and challenges
There are no risks of not completing the project.
I've just started the renovation process.
Backers can come around and check the progress of the works.
The biggest challenge we face after opening will be to keep creating great food and all the good things we want to produce with great quality but in with a fast enough service (the space is small).
