3rd Rail presents: 'Artist Beer Visions' - An exhibition of screen printed fictional beer labels with artwork inspired by traditional brews and their iconic visual identities. Featuring designs by 20 national and international artists.
Synchronous with the booming craft beer movement, ABV will be a collaborative exhibition which unites the three creative skills of brewing, illustration and screen-printing. We’re working with twenty talented artists, each one distinguished in the worlds of contemporary illustration, street art and typography, and asking them to design a fictional beer label for us to produce a limited run of screen prints from.
The exhibition will be serving up some incredible pieces, reflecting the powerful names, hypnotising slogans and inspiring mythology of those strange and spectacular brews that have intrigued and confused so many diligent drinkers.
During our occupation of 71A Gallery we'll be displaying all the works as large format screen prints.
On top of that, our friends at People's Park Tavern will be packing a punch with a special exhibition beer, free at the launch night.
The event promises to be a spectacular showcase of art, print & beer and we need your help to make it happen!

Risks and challenges
The risks are very few if any. In terms of production we've got it covered as that ball is firmly in our court and this is what we do all day every day. The venue is confirmed, and the printing is well underway. We'll run the kickstarter for the length of the exhibition and update the previews with the full ABV series after the opening. So with your help we're pretty much good to go!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
