A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:

Metallic Body Design
Chipseasy is easy to use, compact, and highly efficient. It has a high-end and aesthetically-pleasing metallic design that can be placed anywhere in your lab or studio.
The Chipseasy is designed as easy-to-operate desktop equipment with an aluminum cover, as well as 8 drawers with 64 storage units. Up to 512 different electronic components, or other small parts like screws and nuts, can be stocked and monitored in the Chipseasy.
The Chipseasy offers 5V and 12V DC power supply, and consists of a control board, LED display panel and switch, etc. It communicates with a back-end management network system through a user interface.
Multicolor options are available to make Chipseasy a stylish part of your studio or lab. (This is only available for 100 pledges.)
Connected to your computer or smart device via USB cable, the Chipseasy has easy-to-operate software with powerful features. It supports keyboard input and voice input to search the required components. We will introduce 3 application modes: Operation Mode, Storage Mode, and Soldering Mode.
Operation Mode is used when users need to get or stock specific components. This mode makes it super-flexible to search and grab the parts you need.

Storage Mode is used to stock a large number of components simultaneously. This 3-step process is optimized automatically, and allocates storage units to make the process of stocking numerous components simple and easy.

Soldering Mode is designed for PCB assembly jobs or project development. This mode gives users a quick and easy way to finish their design with more than 60% time saved.

After uploading the components purchase list or project bill of materials, the Chipseasy can automatically check the inventory to match the components in storage with the uploaded BOM and list. For missing parts that are not in stock, the Chipseasy will generate a new list and automatically upload it to multiple online purchasing platforms like Parts-in-Place.
The Chipseasy provides an interactive community. You can register online, create an account, discuss designs, and even share your circuit diagram and DIY gadgets to other members of the Chipseasy community. Users can also find and exchange components with one another.

Risks and challenges
We are a manufacturer of consumer electromechanical products. This is our third Kickstarter project. With the design and manufacturing experience we gained from our two previous successful projects, we believe the Chipseasy is mature, stable, and market-ready. While most Kickstarter projects don’t come with a warranty, we are proud to provide a 6-month warranty for the Chipseasy.
We have assembled a global team of talented, passionate, and motivated designers and engineers. Members of the Chipseasy team have solved problems and worked through design and production challenges every day for the last 18 months. At every step, we offer the best solution. We have built a very good relationship with the manufacturer, and each Chipseasy will be fully tested before shipping. Though there is always the possibility of unforeseen risk, we will be doing everything in our power to reduce this risk to an acceptable range by working with our backers and providing regular updates.
