Sadly, you are not alone. Between this and the Coolest, we are out a substantial amount. Thieves like this one are just that. We will not ever see our rewards, but we know their names. I hope this doesn't put too many people off of Kickstarter, as I have backed many projects before and since that were a pleasure to be a part of and helped some deserving people get a needed push in the right direction. There's an asshat in every crowd . . . Here's hoping we don't see any more.

Nothing yet, $300 pledge. I understand the Time it takes to make and ship these. Hopefully ill see it soon

Hi there. We are preparing more shipments of completes and pre wounds. Unfortunately our international shipment costs over 4 pounds have more than doubled since the start of the project, and this is contributing to the delay. Slowly but surely our backers will receive their pledged items.

    13. Ahaxz on November 17, 2013

Have not recieved annything so far, 200$ international pledge

"A fully tested and complete Tesla Tronix 2500 turn Tesla coil, tuning wand and a DC power supply." (Also, 2 off 7.4v LiPo batteries and the DVD.)

Delivered to me (UK) 10 minutes ago.

THAT LOOKS DAMN IMPRESSIVE MAN. Safely packed, beautifully made.

Did I say it looks impressive? And beautifully made?

Time for an update, I want to get a new video update out hopefully soon, and eventually back to posting regular video updates again.

Truth be told I was without a residence for several weeks while we were searching, and many houses/apartments had fallen through. All my personal items/furniture and most Tesla inventory were intermingled in storage for this time. We finally managed to settle into a much larger space than what we were living in, within the same price range we were previously living in.
Believe me I want to get these rewards out ASAP, I had never dreamed It would be October and I would still be shipping Kickstarter items.

    16. Roger W Turner on October 10, 2013

Any news on the remaining few rewards?

    17. TeslaTronix Creator on August 27, 2013

There are still some rewards at have not shipped yet. My lease has expired for my current residence and things have been hectic hes past several weeks. Rewards are still slowly shipping.

    19. Roger W Turner on August 26, 2013

Has my reward been despatched yet?

    20. TeslaTronix Creator on August 10, 2013

We're down to the last 25 rewards or so. Almost there!

    21. Ethan Harris on August 10, 2013

Hmm. Updates? I tried waiting a few weeks before asking again.

    22. TeslaTronix Creator on July 25, 2013

At this point there are only some pre wound kits left. All completes that have not shipped yet will ship with a T-shirt, and all pre wound kits will be shipping with spheres.

    23. Ethan Harris on July 25, 2013

Any idea when you will send my kit? It seems like I gave you a lot of money and I haven't heard anything.

    24. TeslaTronix Creator on June 30, 2013

Chris, your order shipped on the 16th. You should receive it some time this week. It has not bounced back to the PO box.

We are still shipping completes, and the final mixed assortment of lower tier kits will ship Monday 1st.

      hey TT,

i've read somewhere a while that there are afew sets yet to be shipped, but i have yet to receive mine~ not to be too rushing but just curios if you indeed have sent all the shipment and could mine have been lost or something

      i've pladge $75 for the international kit~

      pls advice, thanks!

    26. TeslaTronix Creator on June 25, 2013

Do not let the wire overlap, period. This is key. A multi layer coil will not function.

    27. Ryan O'Don on June 25, 2013

So I'm new at the whole tesla coil scene and I don't know much about them at the moment. I ordered a kit just because I love the idea of wireless power and thought this would be a good way for me to experiment and learn what goes into making a tesla coil and how they work. Can someone explain whether or not for the L2 you can have a multi layer coil and why or why not?

    28. Jacobi on June 11, 2013

I NEED LIGHT!!! anxious in NC. Yes patiently waiting on the Second round of UPGRADED domestic kit. : )

    29. Anomaly on June 7, 2013

      I would be willing to pre-order a 6" sphere.

    30. TeslaTronix Creator on June 7, 2013

I would like to say within a week or so, we have a new shipment of spheres on the way in, and we have to tack the nuts down. If you wish I can start pre-orders on them.

    31. Anomaly on June 7, 2013

Sounds good. Any idea when the spheres will become available?

    32. TeslaTronix Creator on June 7, 2013

Though I might have to take a peek at mcmasters copper floats....

    33. TeslaTronix Creator on June 7, 2013

Those are decent subsitutes, but mcmaster prices are way too high, and if you look those steel spheres on king are 5 pounds. Our prices for our spheres will fall somewhere between those two, and they are hollow stainless steel, with an 1/4 20 threaded nut welded.

    34. Anomaly on June 7, 2013

Well, I'm not sure how spherical and smooth they would end up being, but I was looking at metal floats as a (somewhat) cheap way of getting hollow metal spheres. has a pretty diverse listing. This site:… has specifically hollow metal spheres for sale, but the shipping for me would cost more than the product, so I'm not sure it's worth it.

    35. TeslaTronix Creator on June 7, 2013

4 and 6 inch spheres will soon be available on the site. A copper sphere would probably work well too. Anything metallic can serve as a top load within reason. Copper is heavy, and will oxidize like the statue of liberty however. Do you happen to have a source for copper spheres? If so I would like to take a peek...

    36. Anomaly on June 7, 2013

Or should a 4" sphere be plenty? If so, is there any way I could just purchase one through the Tesla Tronix site?

    37. Anomaly on June 7, 2013

I was wondering if there was much difference in material used for the top load sphere. I am trying to choose between a 5" or 6", steel or copper sphere to use. Which do you think would work the best with this setup?

    38. TeslaTronix Creator on June 4, 2013

There are a few lower tier kits left, and the completes will round out the end of this month. We are also compiling a list of people who had incorrect addresses, return postages/ect, and we will contact those individuals.

    44. Jan Babiuch-Hall on May 31, 2013

Has anyone received their Upgraded Domestic Kit yet? May is almost over and mine hasn't come in.

    45. TeslaTronix Creator on May 25, 2013

Craig, as stated in the paper work, these kits are designed around inch and a quarter diameter PVC for the secondary. You have enough magnet wire for 9+ inches of windings. the domestic kits shipped with either 9 or 10 inch pieces of PVC, and the remaining wire is to be used for the top load (toroid).

The other option- extra wire can be salvaged (from other old coils, transformers, thin spare junk wire) for the top load, and the entire spool of 32 AWG can be used to wind a larger primary.

There are other options for top loads instead of using part of the 32 AWG, if you so choose to make a large secondary.

Finally received my kit in London. I knew the PVC pipe was not included to reduce shipping but where is the information to replace this component myself? I think you guys have a good thing going but will be hampered by a lack of empathy for your clients. I see this all the time - great tech, poor people skills. Please reply as there will be loads (?) of others wondering the same thing! Light the world.

I'm thinking about asking my local community college if they would be interested in acquiring a Tesla sphere, once I've tinkered with it, as a donation... They just finished building two very nice (and expensive!) science buildings/infrastructure, so hopefully the teachings of Tesla might be something they could incorporate into one of their curricula...
