About this project
'Charles & Diana – The Musical’ was produced in conjunction with the 6th Annual Midtown International Theater Festival between July 18th and August 6, 2005 at the Workshop Theater in NYC. All seven performances sold out and the show had the distinction of being named the top box office sales over more than 40 other shows presented.
“Charles & Diana” has a cast of nine, with six principals and three ensemble. Additional characters are played by the principal 'Vicar Bones' and the three ensemble players. In the 2005 festival production there were 15 musical tracks best described as a combination of Beatles, 80s pop and British dance hall style numbers.
- We've just signed a contract for a three week run at the Arclight Theater located on West 71st Street off Broadway, beginning on October 10th through October 28th.

In the clip above, Diana meets her 'Guardian Angel' Vicar Bones at the gates of heaven. There she's given a chance to relive her life over again. The scene ends with excerpts from the opening number: 'Vicar Bones' Time Machine'.
In this clip (above), BBC reporters comment on the imminent arrival of Diana's coach, before the Royal Wedding. We're then taken inside St. Paul's Cathedral, where the cast sing 'Let's Get Away - The Royal Wedding Song').
