WAND is also one of the very few Bluetooth transmitters in the market that support aptX low latency when up to two devices are connected. WAND offers audio streaming to either one or two headsets simultaneously with zero lip-sync delay. Why did we make WAND?
We are a group of people who love watching sports highlights, movies, streaming programs as well as playing games. WAND is created and invented because we couldn't find the perfect product on the market that meets all of our demands, so we decided to make one by ourselves.
Long Bluetooth range is not supported by most Bluetooth transmitters in the market.
Have you ever needed to get up for quick toilet run or to grab some snacks but were worried about missing any part of your movie or game? We did, and that is why we know that long Bluetooth range is essential.
Most Bluetooth transmitters in the market do not address the lip-sync delay issue.
You might not know what lip-sync delay (short for lip synchronization) is but you have probably experienced it before. Lip-sync is the audio lag between the video you see and the audio you hear, and it is a common problem with Bluetooth transmitted products. We know how annoying it can be especially when you're playing on a game console so, we have come up with a product that effectively minimizes the lip sync issues.
Parallel streaming to up to 2 devices is a rare feature with existing products in the market.

We found that most Bluetooth transmitters on the market are way too bulky with poor design aesthetics. What about a sleek and minimal design that matches the TV console nowadays? We've got it covered.
How do we design the WAND?
The main body is sculpted from anodized aluminum with a sleek hairline brush finish.
The laser engraved TUNAI logo is located at the bottom of the device and faces the audience. The button at the top is a combination of transparent PET in black, embedded with food grade silicon rubber that diffuses the LED indicator light evenly to all directions.
A spring is installed in the button to create haptic feedback for users.
Two neodymium magnets in the main body allow the WAND to be docked to any metal surface or secured using 3M double-sided tape ensuring the device can be mounted anywhere.
One button for both mode/input selection and status display. A long press on the button will force WAND to enter pairing mode with a flashing LED allowing it to be discovered by other Bluetooth headphone/receivers. The LED stops flashing when connected.
Three different LED colors including white, blue and orange are used to distinguish the selected audio input source. For energy saving, the LED light will turn off after two minutes. WAND also enters a sleep mode two minutes after all Bluetooth devices have been disconnected. To see the current LED status or wake up WAND, just press the button again.

We want WAND to be robust, compact and affordable. The miniature size and high-density internal components are needed, resulted in a relatively higher total cost. How to accurately control the price becomes a challenge for us. As WAND moves from engineering to pre-production stage, we have been negotiating with our component suppliers and have made significant progress so far. We feel confident that we will be able to achieve our ideal target cost and price for mass production.
Another potential risk is the support of aptX low latency for most Bluetooth earphones/headphones. As there are not many Bluetooth earphones/headphones supporting aptX low latency (which is the technology that eliminates the lip-sync issue), it could be a potential issue for the compatibility with WAND. TUNAI has ironed out the risk and designed SQUARE, the Bluetooth receiver with aptX low latency technology, to be a compatible link between WAND and your headphones, whether it supports Bluetooth or not.
