T.M.I. (too much information) is a multidisciplinary collaborative that will engage the audience to look at how we use and abuse technology. It will take a look at how our forms of communication have evolved in ways that instantaneously connect us but also isolate us. Directed and choreographed by Sandra Portal-Andreu, T.M.I. (too much information) will bring together South Florida's finest artists to present two evenings of interactive performance.

In early December 2014, Fuzion Dance Artists, based in Sarasota, FL and under the direction of Leymis Bolaños-Wilmott, commissioned and performed the main piece of T.M.I. (too much information). We are excited to continue this collaboration and bring Fuzion down to Miami to perform the work. Your contributions will aid in compensating the artists for their work, time, and travel. Currently, we are adding three final components to the Miami premiere. In the next month, we will begin to work on a short film by Damian Rojo and two additional pieces that will be performed by Miami-based artists: Samantha Pazos, Lize-Lotte Pitlo, and Katie Wiegman.

With the use of dance, theatre, film, animation and sound, T.M.I. is a social and cultural project that is current with the times and whose purpose is to bring awareness to our community and ourselves about how we communicate with each other. Our project will be performed at the Rift Blackbox Theater on April 24th and 25th, 2015! We hope to see you there!

Thank you again for considering and supporting our project!

Risks and challenges

The biggest challenge thus far is trying to coordinate rehearsal times. All my collaborators are busy movers and shakers which is a great blessing! We are limited in time but we are diligent and focused of the task at hand. Thankfully, my collaborators are just as excited as I am to present this work!
