Our story begins in Olympia City. It sits on the site of the fabled Mount Olympus in the former country of Greece. The year is 2554 and the Earth is dying. Man has drained most of her resources. Turning towards the sky is a pointless cause. Science fiction was wrong, deep space travel is not feasible. Humanity is forced to dig further underground for resources while scientists struggle to find a sustainable energy source. Society is split down the middle. People either live in the lap of luxury or in complete poverty. The rich rule the commerce, trade, jobs and resources.
The main character Liam is a struggling D.E.M (Deep Earth Miner) for Gaia Corp.. His job is dangerous and the pay is meager. Six months prior to the beginning of the story Liam lost his only son to illness. A few years before that he lost his wife to the same disease. The treatment is only available to the wealthy due to the cost. Feeling that he has nothing left to lose, Liam volunteers to lead the deepest dig yet.
Nearing the 25 mile (40km) marker Liam breaks into a massive cave. What he doesn't know is that this isn't a standard cave. It is Hades, the Underworld. After exploring a little bit he finds what looks to be a room carved directly into the stone. In the center is two tombs, one is open. As he nears the tombs, the other opens. Inside he finds a now waking Hades, god of the Underworld. The other tomb belonged to the now missing Persephone, wife of Hades.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The biggest challenge we face is finishing the book in a timely manner. Both Mariah and I are attending college full time. Being full time students has taught us some very good time management skills. We are both very dedicated and passionate of our work.
Another challenge we face is making sure that if funded, all money is allocated accordingly. We have spent hours breaking down everything from printing costs to shipping to make sure it is all in order. I am a very organized person and I like to know where every penny is being spent.
The final challenge we face is general order organization. There is a potential that we may get over funded. With that come a lot of orders and confusion. As previously stated though, I am extremely organized. But I do know that mistakes can happen. We have a support team who will be helping to make sure all orders and bundles get to the correct person.
