About this project
Satan's Angel is a legend among burlesque dancers. Her legacy is filled with San Francisco counter culture, Las Vegas stage door Johnnies, and a sexuality she refused to closet. Angel has amassed four decades worth of fascinating, colorful, and riveting stories as she's traveled the globe performing the art of burlesque. This unique film documents her love for the craft and preservation of burlesque as well as her love for her life partner Vic.
Tony has been playing music and recording albums for the past thirty years. He has played with legendary musicians like Roger Daltry and Marianne Faithfull. As a skilled session bass player he has recorded albums with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Matthew Sweet, and many more. He has been creating music under the Martini Kings and more recently Stereo Blues. Tony recently published a book: Late Night With Bob Dylan. He has worked with Josh on various music videos and short films ever since their introduction on Camp Burlesque (32 min).
Josh has been making films for the past seventeen years. His knowledge of filmmaking started in New Jersey creating several short films using a 16mm Bolex camera. He later attended the University of Arizona where he studied photography. He directed his first film Idleheist (60min) which obtained distribution. He has been living in Los Angeles directing short films and music videos which have been selected in film festivals and gained distribution.
