MICROMON - New gameplay video

Hello backers!!! First off we would like to thank you all your support! The response we've received from you and the community has been very encouraging and the team is very motivated. As promised, in this video update we wanted to show you more actual gameplay running on my iPhone4, I hope you like it! I will be posting another new video update (FAQ) sometime this week so please feel free to ask any questions in the comments section. Note: My apologies for the poor camera work I had to shoot the video from another iPhone 4.

Disclaimer: This is a very early pre-alpha build, so many of the things you will see will probably change.

      I see no reason why you can't have both a stamina meter AND an auto-run option in the game if you really want. Why not just make it something you can unlock late in the game as some kind of device that you can keep on or off at your convenience?

      @Kyle, that's a great question! We think the stamina bar will help keep the player's attention on the game specially when traveling long distances. We also want to include adventure elements such as moving platforms and some other challenges. Having a stamina bar will add a level of challenge to players (without being annoying) making it more fun. We are not discarding the auto-run option though, if the community hates the stamina bar we will remove it.

      @Colin it will be generous :) You can pretty much (in most cases) cruise an entire section with a full bar. Can you elaborate on the reward? Sounds interesting. We are still defining what the mechanics will be to catch monsters, there are some very cool proposals that we have to analyze and build demos to play test, just to make sure it feels right.       i dont know how you capture monsters in this game but you should have a reward tier for a backer monster catcher thing!

      i actually like the stamina bar as long as its generous but not just to be there like you can run forever but theres a stamina bar

      I have to wonder why you gave the running button a stamina meter. Pokemon never had a stamina meter for their running shoes. Why not just give us an auto-run option, like what HeartGold/SoulSilver did?
