1) Android App
Now that we’ve launched the PowerUp 3.0 iOS app, we’re super-focused on developing the Android app and meeting the production schedule.
The first release of our iOS app was published last week — check it out here on iTunes:
How do you like it so far?

2) Tooling & Manufacturing
We’re totally blown away by the demand for the PowerUp 3.0 and have managed to kick off production sooner than expected in order to meet our production schedule and get the finished product to our 10,000-plus backers! Most product-based Kickstarter campaigns wait until the end of their funding period to begin manufacturing.
Production starts with tool-making. After the tools are made, we can start the process of injection-molding the PowerUp 3.0 plastic parts.
Thanks to your incredible support, our manufacturing partners are getting the tooling ready today! We expect the first injected parts to be ready late next week, thanks to our record-breaking manufacturing partners who are helping to make this happen.
At the same time, we’ve sent our order for the long-lead items — PowerUp 3.0 Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) with the Bluetooth Smart chip. These are the items that take the longest to produce and can create bottlenecks in production if not ordered on time.
Check out a video of the tooling and PCB manufacturing process on our Facebook Page to see it in action!
Thanks for backing and don’t forget to share our project with your friends!
