Sharpener Jar is a product designed to help you quantify your creative output.
381 backers pledged $12,950 to help bring this project to life.

Quantity over Quality

Hello supporters of The Campaign for the Accurate Measurement of Creativity-

A few quick notes:

1) By now everyone that backed the 1st edition (early bird, standard, and baller) — as well as those that backed at "thrifty" — should have received their rewards. Please contact me if you believe you have not. Those of you that pledged at the second edition, your shipping survey will be going out in a week or so, and delivery will be in July, as promised.

2) For those of you that have begun to use your Sharpener Jars and pencils—I'd love to see your quantification progress. You can submit photos to my blog via Tumblr. A few of you have already submitted pics, but I somehow lost your names for the blog posts—please send me a message if this is you. Here's an amazing submission that I received the other day. Keep 'em coming.

3) A few months back I had the opportunity to chat with Australia’s Radio National (think BBC or NPR) about the “Campaign for the Accurate Measurement of Creativity.” Our conversation started with talking about the project, but quickly turned into a discussion on creativity at large—and they turned it into a super great radio piece. You can hear it here.

4) Completely unrelated to this Kickstarter, but you can get a preview of my next Kickstarter here: MANUAL COFFEEMAKER Nº1. Look for it later this summer.

Thanks for the support, and stay sharp,
Craighton

I got my large jar version of the sharpener and it just makes me smile every time I see it. I have it out on the table and told my son we could tell how much he was writing by seeing how many shavings there were in the jar. The kids are loving it and I find it totally delightful. Great design. Thanks for making the effort. Love the pencils too.
