HELP US REACH OUR GOAL.
Faithless Productions is producing a new style of show SENSUAL DREAMS, a brand new theatrical experience developed fusing Dance, Theatre, Cirque and Magic around a sensual love story. After performing for over two decades myself and coming across so many performers, I see a lot of casting directors and producers typecasting dancer when in reality we do so mush more. Most dancers come with a second skill be it Acting, Singing, Aerialist or magic and its time we show what we can really do. We have already tested the show on a smaller scale and have now been given 3 dates at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo in June 2014. This has given us a big platform to showcase the show and stand out from the crowed swell as the opportunity to get promoters from all over the world to come and see the show so that we can expand our tour internationally by the end of the year but we need to raise funds to cover the initial start up cost every company needs to get off the ground.
SENSUAL DREAMS has been cleverly marketed as the new risqué production showcasing some of the best acts in the entertainment industry. Working with Eventim Ticketing & Promotions company to promote and sell tickets for the show.

Sensual Dreams is catered to an audience of 16 and above. Are unique selling point is that we are a variety show on a big scale and as TV shows such as Britons Got Talent has shown. Opening the doors to a huge audience that would not go see a circus show or people that would not go see a dance show and same applies to magic. We offer a whole package of entertainment. There is something for everyone.
SENSUAL DREAMS brings to the stage an extraordinary combination of romance, adventure, mystery, passion and heroism. Our production and creative team boast some of the most experienced and successful talents in the entertainment industry. This theatrical show is energetic, vibrant, colourful, entertaining, a sensational world class show that highlights the best of Dance, Cirque, Theatre, Magic. The production gives the audience the total entertainment package.
The story line has been kept simple and direct to the point. A young man falls asleep and wakes up in an imaginary world, full of beautiful men and women singing, dancing and flying above and around him. However, the young man can’t seem to get their attention. He then realises he can produce magic and he uses this to entice the people around him to interact with him in his dreams. The show is brought together by a series of artists such as:
The Ring Master - A Gender illusionist, a very dominant character who brings everyone together and uses big capes and dramatic entrances and exits to introduce new acts to the stage. This artist holds the key to why the young man cannot interact with other members in the show. A burlesque striptease act you won't believe.
The Dream Man - A Magician in his own right and a vital part in the show. This character is the main focus of the storyline in the Production. Portrayed as a geeky and clown like man during the show and a big attention seeking character. During the show he produces mounds of illusions that amaze the audience but go unnoticed by his fellow cast members in the show. His one focus is for other acts to let him join in.
The Aerialists - There are two aerialist in the show both look like they float in the air but yet are very different from each other. One works on silks (a material seen in a lot of Cirque shows) and is beautiful to watch and the other Aerialist act is done on chains. The latter is a relatively new form of Arial work, which was originally done by a male. By having a female do this act breaks from tradition and pushes the boundaries in the cirques world.
The Cyr Wheel - A stunning act to watch. Over the last year this act has been the focus on many cirque shows, yet SENSUAL DREAMS has done something very special to this act by making it all about the person within it and not the apparatus which is what most shows focus on. Making it look seamless and flowing you forget you’re watching a wheel go round and focus on this gentle yet powerful part of the show.
The The Singers - There are two singers in the show, one female and one male. The two singers guide you through the show with songs from different genres of music. These amazing singers front the show with sunning costumes and unbelievable vocals capturing the audience's emotions.
Dancers - Not only are they dancers, but each and everyone of the cast members has a specific role to play in the production. During the show there are so many styles of dance incorporated within Sensual Dreams that we decided to give each musical number a character to focus on; Spanish, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz and Jive are just a few to mention. This meant that every cast member becomes a lead member in the show and has a character to perform as.

Hammersmith Eventim Apollo is a 3645 seat capacity theatre in the heart of central London. Sensual Dreams have 4 shows booked at the venue over 3 days. There will be three evening performances plus a late matinee performance on the 28th. The option of a 5th show (a late matinee on the 29th) is available if there is sufficient demand.
As we are crossing over and producing a show that involves so many genres there is no such competition in what we are trying to do. Are main competitors would be the West End shows as well as Cirque De Soleil but as we producing a show that sits on its own we gain a new audience. Producing the show in venues that mainly used for a younger crowed than the West End and venues that Cirque de Soleil would not uses due to them mainly performing in venues over 5,000 capacities.
The collective theatre markets of London’s West End and New York’s Broadway are worth almost $2 billion per year and Cirque Du Soleil turns over almost $1 billion per year. We Believe the combined forces of Dance, Theatre, Cirque and Magic in SENSUAL DREAMS offer extraordinary potential for theatre-going markets around the world.
Working with Hammersmith Eventim Apollo I will be Allocated on their Website and have access to there extensive email database that goes out to over 10,000 people. In addition to this as they are owned by Eventim and they are my ticket operators for the show, they will also reach out to their whole database on social media and email that has just under 1 million people. I have also been in constant talks with media (Newspapers and TV) over airtime publicity and write-ups about the show. Due to my background in the performing arts I have great connections that I have made and one of them being the PR company behind the Book Of Mormons that had a huge press release and we plan on doing a similar package with sensual dreams.
Risks and challenges
This is already our second attempt at raising funds on Kickstarter and now more than ever it's so important to us to try our hardest to hit our goal.
The Risks are mainly timing issues,
- We need to raise enough funds in a short space of time.
- If successfully funded there is a short space of time to get word out that we will be at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on the 27th, 28th and 29th of June 2014 but in this case we have budgeted a great PR company to help us though this and get us enough coverage on all media and posters / Flyers in addition to bloggers and review write ups in the surrounding area of London.
- As a show we are ready to go and just waiting for the funds to lift us off the ground. In the case of not being able to perform at the Venue we have already looked into other venues as our main goal is not only to do one venue but to put together a UK tour.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
