World's first affordable Specialty Printer Machine with patented technology. Tag On That allows you to unleash your imagination!
What Is it? Tag on That is not just a machine that can print on anything, but it is also an all inclusive experience with thorough online training, (tips, techniques, step by step processes) ideas and support. Our years of experience and know how on the process are all part of the Tag On That experience.
Why do we need Kickstarter? In the early days of the paper printer/copiers, only businesses and corporations could afford to own one. Now that the cost has been lowered, printer/copiers are found in every classroom, office and home.
Similarly, we want to make Tag on That as affordable as possible and available everyone! To make this happen in an affordable way, we need to produce in volume. You, as our Kickstarter Backers, are key to making it all happen.
With Tag On That you can personalize your life, organize your world, and brand yourself! Here are just a few examples of what you can do:
1. Personalize your life -- Tag On That will let you print your name, a favorite picture or logo, photo and even a handwritten message onto anything – wood, metal, plastic, rubber, glass, paper, leather; both smooth or rough objects. Tag On That can even print a perfect image on objects like a walnut, which are round and have ripples. Tag On That will let you be the one to spice up parties and events by adding your personal touch. Testing the Tag On That prototype has been a lot of fun! We have been trying it out in all sorts of ways, like personalizing birthday parties where we print “Happy Birthday” and the child’s photo on birthday plates, napkins, cups, prizes, etc. In another party, guests had a blast using Tag On That to do fun temporary tattoos. Think about giving the most unique gifts, from Christmas tree ornaments with a family name to personalized jewelry and picture frames! Tag on That is perfect for special events, creative school projects, fundraisers – the list goes on and on.
2. Organize your world – Tag On That is a great tool to organize and keep track of everything, and do it in a cool way! You can label anything you want to keep organized - school supplies, sporting equipment, water bottles, or even items around the kitchen. Ever mix up the salt shaker with the sugar shaker? Not so yummy.
3. Brand yourself -- Tag On That will let you brand yourself! Imagine creating a personal monogram or logo and printing items to show off your personality. You can print on tablet and smartphone covers, books, binders, backpacks, shoes, water bottles, skateboards, sporting equipment, electronic devices, etc. If you can think it, you can now brand it with Tag On That. Tag On That can help you brand your business or any organization, club, team, group, etc. Think about a restaurant, for example. You could grab plain items like salt and pepper shakers, vases on the tables, napkin holders, cups and even those credit card/bill holders, and use a Tag On That to print your own designs. Tag On That takes branding to a whole new level of creativity. Imagine the impact you will make!
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
We have been working on and perfecting Tag On That for a couple of years now. We are now at the stage where the many prototypes and processes are working perfectly. We are now ready to produce and deliver Tag On That.
When it comes to testing and proofing our product and processes, we have an obsession for perfection. Not only in the product itself, but also in the training and support. In short, we are dedicated and determined to making this Tag On That experience an outstanding one.
PEOPLE: The Tag On That team has a lot of experience in innovation, manufacturing and retail. Rene, the owner and founder, has been an entrepreneur for a long, long time and has been successful in introducing several concepts and items to the market. Alan Farrell is a former VP of Operations and Merchandising for several retail corporations such as Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Kmart. We have put together our own dream team that is motivated and prepared to make Tag On That a reality.
ENGINEERING: Our founder drove this concept from A to Z and spent A LOT of time doing all kinds of research and development. We have several patent pending concepts related to Tag On That. A great deal of testing has taken place with the inks that we use to make sure it is of the highest quality. We took our time finding the most suitable material to be used for our machines. In fact, it is durable enough that our goal is to provide a lifetime warranty with each Tag On That system!
SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS
As Kickstarter projects begin to move from prototype to production and delivery they may encounter challenges. We have already taken the essential steps in sourcing the best quality material and part suppliers and have negotiated for some time to secure the best costs. We have been performing rigorous testing on the assembled prototypes.
We are pleased to let you know that we now are ready to make it happen and are confident in the product and delivery.

The direct cost per printing is less than once cent of a Dollar per impression. Now the cost per container will vary according to which container size. We will be offering different sizes of containers--ie 1 oz., 4 oz, 8 oz. and maybe more options for ink. We are working on the final prices, but they will correlate with the size of container. When you think about it only costing less than one cent of a Dollar per impression, you realize how affordable the printing really is.
Tag on That Stamp technology is made and created for uneven surfaces, where the stamp is the one that adapts to almost any irregular surface, thus transferring the image in the exact same position that is touching the object. It’s made for that.
With Tag on That, you have the ability to do 100 or even 1000 items at a time (or as many as you want). Now the production time will depend on the person using the printer and how comfortable that person is with the machine. But anyone that has enough practice with the machine will be able to print around 5 to 8 items per minute. (300-500 / hour)
Because the amount of ink needed to print any item is minimal, once you fill up the capsule with ink, which capsule goes in the machine, you can print at least 250 items without having to refill the ink in the capsule.
We have different types of inks, according to different materials, so if you use the right ink, with the right material and follow the instructions in our university regarding how to apply it to different materials. The ink will not come off with normal use.
The amount of ink that goes on the product is so minimal that you won’t feel the raise of the ink on the product - (Similar to the printed letters on a keyboard of a laptop computer).
We have different types of inks, according to different materials, so if you use the right ink along with the right product and follow the instructions in our ToT training university regarding how to apply it to different materials, the ink will not come off with normal use.
The machine has a capsule and that capsule is what you can fill with ink; the ink capsule is secured over the template that has the image, and once you move the table with handles forward and backward, the capsule passes over the image and leaves a residual of ink in the image reservoir that is embedded in the template; once that happens, then you will move the Stamp handle downward causing the special stamp (which we call the Marshmallow) to pick up the image and then transfer that very image onto the object. The process is pretty simple. One can do 5-8 prints per minute, 300-500 per hour, and the cost per impression less than a one cent.
Is it possible to pledge for the basic model and upgrade later to include the Template Maker machine and additional inks if one desired to turn a hobby into a business?
The answer is Yes -- you can pledge for the basic model and once we launch our online shopping cart in our website (after Kickstarter pledges are fulfilled), you will be able to obtain anything you need, more custom templates and/or even upgrade your package to obtain our Template Maker system so you can have the ability to create your own custom templates.
First and foremost, we are committed to producing and delivering a great Tag On That product to all of our Kickstarter backers. This will be where our first products go, which will be followed by our online pre-orders.
After we have successfully delivered on all aspects of the Kickstarter program, we would love to discuss this further.
That is a question that many people have asked so we created a video and posted that video right under the pictures. The video shows and explains the process and how the template maker system functions. You can obtain the template maker in the Tag On That Max package.
With this machine, you can do more than one color, but it will require you to get a good handle of the technique first.
Do I need to replace the stamp with every different color of ink? How often do I need to replace it? How do I clean it?
There is not any part of the Tag on That system that requires a special cleaning process - it is all very simple. The stamp that you are asking about is especially easy to clean! If for some reason there is any residual ink on the stamp, regardless of what color ink you are using, just grab a piece of masking tape and push the sticky side against the stamp and - voila! - in a single second, the dry residual of ink is transferred to the masking tape, leaving your stamp completely clean. The ink that is used will not dye or permanently transfer onto your stamp in a way that will affect the printing process. You can easily use the same stamp for at least 1 year and a whopping 100,000 prints.
Prices may vary from $65 to $150 dollars depending on the shipping company that we use.
