Dearest backers,

Can you believe it was 2011 when you pledged your support for Motionpoems!?

Motionpoems is now a nonprofit organization with a board of directors and more than 120 films in its catalog at motionpoems.org! Thanks to you, we're going strong.

I'd love to invite you to consider a repeat donation if you haven't made one already. You can donate online. It would be great to list your name on our donor page again!

In addition, you can follow my exploits as an innovator, poet, film producer, public artist, and librettist if you join my personal backers on Patreon! You'll get the inside scoop on all the amazing collaborative and solo projects I've got in the works -- Let's inspire one another! 2018 is going to be an amazing year.

Thanks for your support!

Motionpoems' next (monumental) project

In 2011, you backed a Kickstarter campaign that allowed Motionpoems to produce two more seasons of great poetry films, pay filmmakers a stipend for their work, and attract the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis as our official premiere venue. Your support has helped us solidify our reputation as a leading producer of great poetry films.

Now we're exploring a new project, one that will turn a major public building in Saint Paul into a block-wide screen for poetry films in 2014. The building is the historic Union Depot, and the films will turn the Depot into a rail car, moving all who view it. It's a monumental project, and we wanted you to be the first to know. On Friday we started a Facebook page about it, so you can follow its progress. Click here, "like" it, and you won't miss a beat.

There are other big changes afoot at Motionpoems, and we're excited to tell you about those too ... when we can. Meanwhile, we're busy uploading Season 4 this month, and getting ready to release them, as before, in our monthly newsletter and at motionpoems.com. So watch for those. We hope you enjoy them!

It's a privilege to do the work we're doing, and we're honored that you're a part of it. Thanks for your support.

Yours in motion,

Todd and Angella, co-founders

Huge news. And you're the first to know.
