Written by J.M. Barrie as a play in 1904 and then as a novel in 1911, Peter Pan is a timeless tale that is widely known and loved. Despite this, much of the original book has been left out of many of the more modern adaptations and many aspects of the story have been forgotten and overshadowed by more popular renditions of the story.
I really wanted to share Barrie's clever and poetic writing in a medium that I greatly enjoy, and hopefully ignite interest in the book once again!

This is the second volume of the Peter Pan comic, as the first volume was successfully funded by kickstarter in 2013. This book will contain chapters 4-6 of the webcomic (125 pages), which covers chapters 5, 6 and most of 7 from the original work. For the print version of the book, all the pages will be spruced up and updated.
Additionally, there will be 10 bonus 4-panel comics added to the book! They will chronicle cute and funny mini adventures of Wendy and the boys; Neverland slice-of-life comics! These, and the updated comic pages, will only be available in the print and digital versions of the books and will not be posted online.
Here are a few pages from the chapters that will be in the book!

The first comic was posted in September of 2011 and has been running since then. The comic updates twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays.
You can read the comic online at the following places:
Peter Pan Main site (to be fully ready soon, new home site! ^_^ )
You can also follow the comic’s facebook page where I post new pages, quotes from the book, and other peter pan related things.

Elaine Tipping is located in Nishio, Japan, with her husband and two cats. In addition to Peter Pan, she's also the creator of Princess Retribution and Tales of a Gaijin. On top of that she and writer Ben Hsu, the members of Tiny Blue Dragon Studio, make Licensed Heroes and the completed Dubious Company.
She draws full time and teaches English part time. In her spare time (of which there is little) she reads manga, plays video games, and does whatever new hobby she’s discovered. (No, seriously, she needs to stop getting new hobbies). She's run three successful kickstarters to publish Tales of a Gaijin, Peter Pan Volume 1, and Princess Retribution.
She also has a Patreon, where you can support her comics and art on a monthly basis! Plus, awesome rewards ^_-
Any and all updates will be posted here! Stay tuned! ^_^
The cover art for volume 2! It's the icon for the project, but here it is in its entirety!
Goal Reached Bonus reward added! This is a reward that will go to the backers who help the project reach the goal! Basically, anyone who backs before we reach (or puts us over) the $2.800 goal will get a special digital picture of one of the Peter Pan characters drawn just for you all! And those backers will get to vote on the character as well, so it’s entirely in your hands ^_-
And more to come!
Risks and challenges
As I've completed and fulfilled quite a few kickstarters before, I'm pretty well prepared for anything that might be thrown at me. I am just one person, so I will budget plenty of time to make sure I have enough time to complete everything properly and get you good quality products.
One note this time, I am switching printers, but it's one that comes highly recommended by other self publishers, so it should be okay.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
