Voodoo Swing is trying to get to Europe for summer 2013 play, but we can't afford the tickets over there!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEpVOXX5sTU

Voodoo Swing is one of the few bands out there really trying to make a go at playing rockabilly music full time. We are passionate about the music, and everything that goes with it. We're trying to keep an important genre of American music alive and well in the 20th Century. Unfortunately, as an independent band, we don't make much for our efforts. We're trying to get to Europe to not only spread the music, but to help us contine to make our living playing music. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If we can get to Europe for two months of touring, we could really go a long way towards making this something we can viably do full time, All we can offer is that you're supporting an important American genre, rockabilly music, and a kick ass struggling rockabilly band!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

The risks and challenges facing this project essentially add up to weather or not Voodoo Swing can raise enough money to cover the cost of our plane tickets for a European tour. The risk is not meeting our goal, not being able to do the tour, and losing an opportunity to continue to make original rockabilly music in the future.
