All Kickstarter orders have shipped! The final batch went out today!!!!!!!
We started packing Roominates into their shipping boxes on Friday, expecting the whole process to take about a week. Luckily, we had the help of so many amazing volunteers that we were done packing early yesterday evening! Fellow start up founders, the whole StartX staff, and tons of our friends were so awesome to make time to help these last few days. We’ve posted some pictures on Facebook and are still in the process of posting more (preview some below!).
We’ve managed to fill 3 cars (we started to worry when the USPS truck hadn't arrived yet, so we went to visit them instead) + 2 huge USPS trucks in the process + take over most of the warehouse we share with three other companies. (Sorry guys -- we’re cleaning up now!)
Now that we’re done packing, we’re ready to get back to the exciting stuff: coming up with ideas and activities to share with you, showing the endless possibilities of what you can build with Roominate! These will be a part of the Roominate Reel, which we’ve already started filming and editing some videos for. We will be posting them here as we finish things.
Also, we checked back in with the star of our Kickstarter video yesterday afternoon. She has grown so much since we last saw her! Happy 7th birthday!!! Here she is putting together the circular table saw.
Packages are being sent via USPS priority flat rate. Here are some estimated delivery times:
December 7-12 for domestic orders
December 11-18 for international orders (which were sent out first)
We hope you love Roominate!
Note: If any of your friends missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, don’t fear! Our second batch is arriving next week and if they order by December 14, we’ll be able to get it out in time for Christmas. Also, if you haven't filled out the survey from Kickstarter with your shipping information, please let us know when you do so we can make sure you receive your Roominate.
