A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.
Impact strong simulation:
STRENGTH: Graphene distributes the impact force better than any other material. This allowed us to produce a more durable work helmet, improving the safety.
PERFORMANCES: The impact resistance is guaranteed even in extreme conditions of environmental heating.
COMFORT: Graphene due to it's high thermal conductivity allows a reduction of the internal heat and improves thermal comfort.
THE SMALLER AND LIGHTER SAFETY HELMET
Italian design in a shape of a turtle!
So small, so durable!!!
What we want to do?
We want to create a company producing graphene safety helmets!
We want to create the first three thousand helmets in honor of the three thousand victims of 9/11 and then, the others helmets, will be made for the international volunteers.
We are a team that has been trying for two years to improve head protection helmets, to try to make them safer and lighter.
Our team's research and development department have identified graphene as the perfect material for our new helmet, called TURTLE.
Why a crowdfunding campaign to produce TURTLE helmet?
With this fundraiser, you will donate a graphene helmet to international non-profit organizations and help us to create and produce everything!
What do you think?
If you think this is still a little, we promise you a lot bigger: starting production, Koopf company is committed to donating helmets forever to international non-profit organizations and to all the workers who put their lives at risk every day!
A helmet forever.
Help us only once, but you will continue to help us forever!
Koopf company produces the first #Graphene #safety #helmet ever made, result of the material quality, production process and reached performances.
The Graphene due to the material’s particular properties, it is able to distribute the force of an impact better than any other material. Graphene is also an excellent conductor of heat.
This additional property has enabled us to create a avant-garde safety helmet whose high impact resistance is maintained even under conditions of extreme ambient temperatures.
Due to graphene’s capacity for dissipating heat, the helmet’s thermoregulatory outer shell allows the wearer to feel comfortable even during direct exposure to the sun.
Normally a helmet saves 1 life: the life of the wearer.
With TURTLE helmet, you can save your life and a volunteer's one.
Every day in the world a man leaves home to go to work and he does not come back. Do you know how many women in the world cry every day for the death of their relative? Do you know how many #volunteers are committed every day to save thousands of people, putting themselves at risk?
Men of great value, who try to save the world with their uniforms, in the rubble, in the cries, in the crying and lamentations. Men trying to make their contribution. As we want to try to give our contribution!
Who are this volunteers?
The volunteers of the most important non-profit organizations in the world.
The9/11 attack undermined the international security of all the people in the world!
The 3,000 innocent victims are a strong symbol of the culture of security we all need; for Koopf, to dedicate a helmet to these victims means starting to make safety in the right way, leaving a strong international imprint of the first three thousand helmets produced that will remain in history.
Thanks to your support we will be able to produce 3,000 helmets dedicated to the 3,000 victims of the 9/11 attack in New York.
#NewYork #9/11 #TwinTowers #WorldTradeCenter
#NewYork #9/11 #TwinTowers #WorldTradeCenter
"I am interested in contributing to the memory of the victims of the twin towers"...
You can buy a limited edition helmet for the victims of 9/11.
We will send you a graphene helmet and an Origamo with the symbol of the towers like this:
Because Turtle helmet saves 2 lives
Because Turtle helmet gives you the chance to save the lives of volunteers
Because Turtle helmet give you another important opportunity: commemorating the victims of the 9/11 attack forever
Graphene is the strongest and thinnest material known to man.
Consisting of a single sheet of carbon atoms one atom thick, it has mechanical properties that are superior to those of steel or of any other material. Its tensile strength is approximately 20 times higher and its modulus of elasticity is double that of carbon fibre, a material generally considered to be among the most revolutionary materials for industrial use.
Imagine a safety helmet with super-strong, super-thin, super-light plastic shell reinforced with graphene; that's the kind of object we might produce by this amazing material thanks to Koopf's company!!
What about the Graphene?
Graphene is made from a layer of carbon one-atom thick and it's the strongest material in the world.
A graphene coating allows better distribution of impact force. So a graphene helmet makes the same less susceptible to damage compared to helmets without graphene, even in high temperature conditions. The result is a helmet that improves thermal comfort and safety.
One day, it may be common to talk about "graphenes" the way we now speak of "plastics."
What is graphene like?
People are discovering and inventing new materials all the time, but we seldom hear about them because they're often not that interesting.
Briefly, it's super-strong and stiff, amazingly thin, almost completely transparent and extremely light.
Are these helmets only black? No!
HOW WILL THE CROWDFUNDING MONEY BE SPENT?
GUARANTEED FOR LIFE !
We designed and build TURTLE helmet to last a lifetime and we stand behind the quality and durability of our products.
The lifetime of a safety helmet is of two years from first use.
The Koopf warranty lasts two years from the first use of the helmet: if you suffer an accident and your helmet is injured, sending us your Turtle helmet with the statement of the incident, we will send another one for free.
Risks and challenges
While the production of a product has become easier in today's well-connected world, it is still a fairly complex challenge. To better prepare for future challenges, we partnered with supply chain and production experts and recruited board members, who can provide specialist advice and help us meet the challenges in production management, engineering and retail sales.
We shipping to our supporters around the world. In the last two years, we have developed long-term working relationships with our manufacturers and have been invaluable and active partners during our prototype development phase. They approved the Koopf design for its manufacturability and committed themselves to its success. During the production process, we expect to make minor changes to optimize the design for mass production.
Although it is difficult to plan any unforeseen circumstances, such as political or economic events that could delay production or delivery, we have created contingency plans in case of such problems. However, we are sure to face unexpected challenges during this trip and will do our best to resolve them quickly. We are committed to keeping our well-informed advocates in a timely manner throughout the production process and doing everything possible to deliver the helmet as planned.
