Rough Cut and "Reel Change" Workshops - Thanks to YOU!
Hello trusty FFR supporters!
It has been a few months since our Kickstarter campaign ended and we are still amazed and grateful for your support! We are proud to report that we're moving along on our rough cut - thanks to YOU - and hope to have a content cut ready for review by the end of October. Very exciting news! We have been very busy with music licenses, composers, and post production - and Ayuub even filmed a little bit of new footage at Hillywood 2011! We also have a designer and writer on-board who are working full speed ahead.
In addition, I will be in San Francisco next week to participate in the Reel Change workshops hosted by Working Films and The Fledgling Fund. Only 25 filmmakers were selected and I will be presenting our film and learning how to manage effective social issue and social change campaigns. I'm thrilled for the opportunity, and thankful for the energy during our Kickstarter campaign that pushed us in this direction - Thank you!
Again, we would not be where we are today without your generosity and confidence - so thank you from our hearts.
We will be sure to post updates on our Facebook page so please stay tuned!
