Witness: Hillary's Song Cycle
by Rebecca Pronsky
Rebecca Pronsky is a born and raised Brooklynite whose music confidently straddles the boundaries of country roots, jazz, rockabilly, and folk. She creates a distinctive sound, which at times feels like Stevie Nicks singing with Ennio Morricone. She's got a “voice to die for” (Maverick) and her writing is "personal, anecdotal, and emotional" (NPR). Lately she's been playing a lot of piano and writing songs about politics.
