No kidding, have you herd anything back from the email? From the talk here (http://bit.ly/18HFrQ0), it looks like we might be better off without it anyways.

    2. Mark Sean Lorey on October 17, 2013

These two guys suck at communicating

    3. Craig Ross on October 1, 2013

I never even received a confirmation. Weren't these things supposed to be shipping the end of September? More and more I'm apprehensive about doing this outside of Kickstarter. Keeping us informed and being accountable is the key to any successful product. How else can we trust a company?

    4. Mark Sean Lorey on September 28, 2013

I have tried to contact someone about my order! I need the one for the iphone 5 ! Not the one for the 4!
It has been some time and I/we have not been updated or have we gotten any update on progress! The delivery date is fast approaching and it would be nice to get some kind of conformation on if everything is still a go and if you know witch one I need?! Thanks and look forward to some kind of feedback

    5. James Heath on September 3, 2013

I forwarded the pledge email just before the goal wasn't hit, any progress?

    6. Craig Ross on August 31, 2013

I just realized, there were actually no development updates since early July. Everything else has only been campaign updates. I'd love to know what's actually happening with development and ideally a better look at the design.

    7. Craig Ross on August 31, 2013

I was hoping we'd see some update by now. Even if the Kickstarter failed, if you guys are still wanting our support, please show there's something happening, so I can be confident I'm not going to throw my money away.

    8. Julius Beronio on August 22, 2013

Could do a relaunch with a smaller goal. Projects with smaller goals usually are successful in a few hours and can be 150%+ before the funding period ends.

    9. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on August 22, 2013

Thank you Todd for your support.

    10. Todd Howard on August 22, 2013

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. Looking forward to my Wrist Charge, glad you found a way to make it work!

    11. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on August 22, 2013

      Hi Todd,

Yes, either receipt will work as long as it shows what you ordered and pledge amount and what phone its for.

    12. Todd Howard on August 22, 2013

Is the pledge receipt the KickStarter pledge confirmation email or the Amazon payment receipt?

    13. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on August 22, 2013

Thank you all for your comments. We posted an update letting all of you know that we are moving forward. Please read and leave a comment if you desire. Thank you once again from all of us at Wrist charge!

Not to be a debbie-downer, but we are not looking good here.

      http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/36471958/wrist-charge-the-band-in-charge-for-iphone-and-and/

And I just noticed we lost some backers.

    17. Thaddeus Sharp on August 14, 2013

I didn't think about that. Great suggestion. Having to take the case off and on would grow annoying.

    18. Raphael Salgado on August 13, 2013

As with many owners, my iPhone 5 and iPad mini usually wear cases for obvious protection. Is there a way you can consider protruding the Lightning connector a bit further with the molding around it no thicker than the molding around the Lightning connector on the genuine Apple cable? The other end of the strap could have a deeper hole to plug the Lightning connector with the molding, providing an even more secure clasp.

Requiring the iDevice to be flush with the Wrist Charge could be a deal-breaker for me if I constantly have to remove it from its case in order to charge.

    19. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on August 12, 2013

      Thaddeus,

Yes we have been working on the certification and we will have it prior to our launch. And to answer your other question, yes I have contacted all the links that you have provided and they are all being worked on. Thank you so much for your continued support and help on our campaign.

      Jerry

    20. Thaddeus Sharp on August 8, 2013

Have you guys looked into the Apple certification process for the lighting connector. I know several campaigns that had major delay issues on there products that use the lighting cable. It seems, Apple drags there feet big time and are uber particular when it comes to approving it.

    21. Thaddeus Sharp on August 7, 2013

Once you get a new vid, or even before, you should really hit up the sites listed in my comment several days ago. I personally check these sites about every day, for they list the newest and coolest gadgets, gear, and just sweet products emerging in the market. It is how I have found out about several KS projects before, for a lot of KS projects get list on these sites. I have no doubt you would see a traffic flow increase.

      Hello Kickstarters,
We thank you for your comment but unfortunately we are unable to take the video down from the updates once they are posted. We did however take it off of the front page of our campaign. We made this video with intentions of people seeing the humor behind it and with hopes of it going viral to help out the campaign but we value your suggestions and help in promoting the campaign. Please continue to help us promote this campaign and we hope that it becomes a successful campaign in the time remaining. Just so you know wether the campaign is successful or not, we will continue to move forward with the production of Wrist Charge and we will be posting an update soon to let all of our backers know not to worry that we will be offering our Wrist Charge product to all of you at the discounted price of the campaign.
We thank you once again for your pledge, comment and continued help in letting people know about us.

It's been a while(5 days) since we have seen any response here. That is one thing that gives your backers confidence and shows you are serious. The most successful projects that I have backed, have been ones where the creators would respond and communicate with the backers and there concerns/suggestions. i.e. Hot Watch(currently blowing up)

I see the Hustle man vid is still up. I still don't get why it is there. It’s only has 6 views on YouTube(one for sure mine). That confirms our concerns with it.

I'm not trying to be an annoying backer by any means, I just want to see this project succeed. At the pace it is going, and the lack of feedback from the creator, and vids like the Hustle man, I don't see this happening. For many of us, this isn't our first backing "rodeo" per say, and you will find our suggestions and concerns to be for the benefit of the project, not just personal opinions.

Looking forward to feedback, updates, and maybe some sharable media that we can feel excited to blast to our social media circles!

i 3rd Travis, guys whats the view on water resistance, or proofing, im guessing proofings gona be a little harder...sorry this might have been mentioned...couldnt find it

    25. Thaddeus Sharp on August 4, 2013

Typo: *and help them realize why they want/need this.

    26. Thaddeus Sharp on August 4, 2013

      I 2nd Travis
I couldn't even finish the vid. It does take away from professionalism for sure. There has been little movement as of late, and if this is to be funded, their needs to be something captivating, something that grasps the average viewers attention and help them realize when you need this.

      Ideas: see the JuiceBee campaign
      HOT Watch campaign
And for a good comedic example vid see Chill Puck campaign.

Just my 2 cents. I've seen several campaigns not make it despite how awesome the product was.
Eye catching presentation is the trend of today social media.

To be completely honest, the "Hustleman" video isn't that funny...It takes way too long to get to the "Wristcharge" part and takes away from the professionalism of the whole thing. I'm trying to help get more backers because it's a really cool product but it's hard to do it when stuff like that shows up. Sorry, but just thought you might want to know.

    28. Julius Beronio on August 3, 2013

    32. Fernando Pena on July 30, 2013

I hope it gets funded, I'm really looking forward to get this charger. I just have one suggestion. In you video you show one that lights up when plugged in, what if that could be a visual alert on the charging status, red for charging and green when its fully charged.

      Good luck guys!!

    33. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on July 29, 2013

Hey Kickstarters! Thanks again for your feedback and comments. They are greatly appreciated.

Nick, thank you for your support and encouragement! We have several new designs in the works for the Second Generation of Wrist Charge that include the ability to hold a charge. We sincerely appreciate your suggestions.

Daniel, thank you for your excellent questions. We have tested our prototypes with a multitude of cases and, although some of the connections have been a snug fit, Wrist Charge has worked with all of them. We will continue to keep large/thick cases in mind while designing future versions.

Thanks again, Kickstarters. We are honored you have chosen to take this exciting journey with us...!!!

      Daniel on July 29, 2013

I know that some people use large/thick cases with their phones, and the thick band would probably prevent this device from connecting to a phone with a large case on it. Did you already have this problem in mind and compensate for it or would this be a potential "future version" alteration?

    35. nick on July 26, 2013

I didn't feel mislead at all as I took the time to watch and read your WHOLE proposal.
It clearly doesn't charge your phone unless its plugged in but one would ask if it would not be possible for it to be able to have the ability if not plugged into a phone to hold a small amount of charge for emergency use?
Clearly the size and design means it wouldn't be able to store much but even 20% in this one or a future Mk 2 would be very useful.
A neat idea that I hope gets its funding and I'm happy to back. Good luck!

Brilliant idea. I just bought a 1 foot micro usb cable because i wanted to be able to charge my phone in my car with as little wiring as possible. But that still means I have wires everywhere. This is better. Share this everyone!

Hey Kickstarters! Thanks again for your feedback and comments. They are greatly appreciated.

Julius, thank you so much for your support. We share in your excitement regarding getting Wrist Charge funded. We agree with YOU! We would love to offer multiple packs of the exact same product; however, unfortunately, we are unable to do so according to Kickstarter "Technology" guidelines which only allow us to offer 1 on any particular singular product within a reward. Since shipping is FREE, though, we would suggest to just make a second pledge on the $15 LEAD THE CHARGE - Android Reward.

Avery, we have shared your frustration and are excited to provide you with the solution as quickly as possible. We can't wait to provide you with your very own Wrist Charge. Thank you so much for your support.

Lee, let's stay in touch! We love entrepreneurial minds such as yours and sincerely appreciate your suggestions. We have a multitude of ideas on the old whiteboard for future Wrist Charge generations. Your idea has really gotten our creative juices flowing...!!! Thanks!

Thanks again, Kickstarters. We are honored you have chosen to take this exciting journey with us...!!!

I had an Idea for the wrist charge, what if in the middle of the out side there was a watch dial or a grid of led's under the outer skin (using a more translucent material for the skin) that would read out time?

    40. Avery Barnes on July 11, 2013

Perfect! As a student I carry my phone charger with me everywhere I go to plug into my laptop in class/ on the go. But carrying my cords in my backpack has serious wear and tear effects on the ends of my cords causing them to split. I have literally gone through 4 iPhone usb cables in the last year. I can't wait to get my Wrist Charge!

    41. Julius Beronio on July 11, 2013

Hope this gets funded! Wish there were duos like Android and Android so I can gift the second one!

    42. Wrist Charge, Inc. Creator on July 11, 2013

Hey Kickstarters! We sincerely appreciate all your comments and feedback.

Ruben, we can't wait for you to have one either! This has been such an exciting journey and a Wrist Charge wrapped around your wrist means we will have accomplished our goal!

Lee, thank you so much for your feedback on our design. We have worked hard throughout the creative process and it is heart-warming to receive such positive feedback. Regarding sizing, we will only produce the one size during our first production run; however, we intend to roll out youth and a larger size shortly after. Rest assured that, if the "one size fits all" doesn't fit you, we will accommodate you as quickly as possible.

cmorgan, we apologize that you have felt misled in any way. It most certainly is not our intention. Wrist Charge is the name we chose for our product and for our company. Frankly, it sounds a lot better than "Wrist Cable" :-) Even so, as Sasha points out, our images, prototypes, and videos all clearly demonstrate that one end is USB and the other end connects to your phone. We have made no claims that Wrist Charge magically charges your phone without plugging it in... :-)

Sasha, thank you for your feedback. We are just as excited as you! We are working on finalizing our "Kickstarter" Wrist Charge design and colors and will be keeping everyone updated on our progress. We are hoping to have finalized prototypes that include our available colors and final graphic designs in the very near future. We will post the images as soon as we get them.

Thanks again, Kickstarters. We are honored you have chosen to take this exciting journey with us...!!!

but the video, the inforgraphic, and all of the writing/images kind of show the USB port, so i don't see how its false advertising... anyway, I'm excited to get one! Do they come in various colors?

    44. cmorgan on July 11, 2013

FALSE ADVERTISING!!! This is NOT a charger. It is a CHARGING CABLE. You still have to have a powered USB device or port to plug this into to charge your phone. This is NOT a charger, which can provide power to your phone.

The design looks great! I read that its one size fits all, will you be making different sizes? Because my wrists are bigger than most.

I cannot wait to have one!! It will be useful...
