STRETCH GOAL: UV Spot Finish at $7500!!!
UPDATE: We've hit our funding goal!!! When the campaign concludes, we'll be heading to the printers, getting our comic into production, and shipping out all of our amazing backer rewards! But that's not all! If we hit $7,500, we'll be adding UV SPOT FINISH to the cover! This will add a special sheen to our lettering, making the artwork really pop - and this stretch goal will enhance every reward tier! We've got one week to go ... and we can do it!

Eisegesis: Kings + Queens is a full-color, all-ages comics anthology written by the Sun Bros and illustrated by Ali Cantarella, exploring the thin boundary between our everyday interactions and the unexpected inner worlds we inhabit.
A royal couple quarrels while their kingdom falls under siege by monsters. A lonely old shopkeeper rules his gift shop with an iron fist. A late night chance encounter leads to an unlikely journey across rooftops and donuts.
These tales dare us to infuse our own perspective into each of them. They're not meant to teach us lessons. Instead, they simply invite us to wonder.
Featuring over 40 pages of gorgeous artwork, Eisegesis will be saddle-stitched and printed on high quality paper with rich, vibrant inks!
Each book also includes a special double-sided centerfold poster, featuring artwork by Brad Sun and a special look at the concept art behind the comic. Plus, all Kickstarter-backed books will be personally signed by Wesley, Brad, and Ali!

This project has been two years in the making, and is almost ready for print!
Eisegesis: Kings + Queens draws influence from all aspects of our lives! This comic is inspired by game theory, old timey cartoons, contemporary fashion, punk rock, political thought, medieval fantasy RPGs, and our own cultural heritage.

Risks and challenges
Eisegesis: Kings + Queens is nearly complete and there are just a few challenges left before it goes to print. While the primary art for the book is finished, it still needs some refinements and coloring on certain pages. The greatest challenge before us is completing the book on schedule. Based on our previous Kickstarter experience, we've projected what we believe is a realistic timetable, and anticipate mailing out our books by mid-June of 2017. For those backers also receiving copies of Mr. Id, books will be shipped together by the end of July.
Once our Kickstarter campaign concludes, we will finish the Special Thanks section by adding the names of our backers, and then head straight to the printers! Although we are promised a quick turnaround time, we will first have to examine and sign off on the proofs, and there could potentially be a few delays in that process. We have no doubt that these books will be completed—they are nearly done as is. The only risk is the possibility of minor shipping delays, and we are prepared to pay for expedited shipping to make sure our books come out on time!
