I have advanced my patent pending GR5 titanium Split Second Key ring design https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/363092515/metperial-gr-5-titanium-split-second-key-ring/description by adding a new patent pending carabineer combined to the 25mm Split Second Keyring that also has a new design hook system to lock the Split Second Key Ring in place when used as a lifting hook if tied to a rope or chain and shackled.
As mentioned on the Split Second Key Ring project, key rings generally are made so the key ring loops around a split coil spring two times that can break finger nails when trying to pry apart, also hard to see when remove or add key, especially in the dark
There are carbineers with similar spring structures as the Split Second Key Ring that bend inwards but need a larger area to be able to spring inwards which a small key ring does not have the room to spring inwards for placing a key onto ring.
Also mentioned in the last Split Second Keying project, I found if applied pressure to spring sideways and not inwards it can easily place key on ring, but if bent to far sideways it will lose its shape, although it can be easily bent back into shape again, I found this was not acceptable for the market and designed on the side parts in a patented wedged shape each side of the split region ends of the keyring that allowed the split opening distances to half on the sides when a key is applied that allows larger objects such as EDC multi tools to be applied to ring without over stretching as well as slightly overlapping so the keys do not mistakenly fall off.
The dimension of the Carabineer Split Second Key ring is 44mm long X 25mm wide X 3mm thickness, although can be made smaller or larger and different shapes.
I designed a multi wrench set in between the Carbineer and the Split Second Keyring to also act as a gusset for structure strength so it can be used as a small lifting hook.
The size hexagon wrenches are ¼” to fit the standard hex size screw driver bits and allen key fittings that also fits a 6mm, 5mm, 4mm, 3mm, 2.5mm and a 2mm hex sizes.
I use every day the Multi Tool Carabiner Split Second Keyring because the tap on my shower has lost its handle which the wrench also fits square or oblong fittings
Other odd shapes for the multi wrench sizes are shackles that are used in car trailers safety chain as well as boat trailers which shackles do rust and need some extra leverage on shackle pins to release; because the Carbineer Split Second Keyring is also used as a key ring for vehicle it is convenient for such a task.
Hose clips are popular such as a garden hose or a vehicles water pipe hose clip, again handy because of a keyring for vehicle keys or house hold keys that can be EDC.
I designed a perfect shape to fit a bottle cap which is compact, light and highly effective, again handy on keyring as this could be one of the best bottle openers on the market that will impress your friends or give them the WOW gift.
Sometime one may be waiting in a traffic jam, nervously at a dentist, or relaxing outdoors fiddling fingers, can now file fingernails with the built in nail file, again because of the EDC house hold and vehicle key ring that is always handy with the advantage of been hypoallergenic skin friendly.
The Carabineer Split Second Keyring is also a small lifting hook that can be used to lift tool bags, such as onto a roof top of house, or hang tools from a ladder or a simple hook to hang items secure that easily remove when needed such as a can of paint with handle that can hang from a ladder.
The picture shows the Carabiner Split Second Key Ring lifting a bucket full of water which is over loading, however a Titanium keyring magnet accessory sleeve part if placed over the small hook locking region, this will stop the grabbing region plying apart when has the weights pressure applied, then it is capable of lifting a bucket full of water which is the maximum weight, I do show in a demo movie lifting my full body weight which should not be used for such a weight as it’s a light key ring although tough for its compact size.
Conventional carbineers need key rings applied as the structures are too big to fit EDC items on a carabineer, also when have key ring applied they become long and bulky.
I have solved this problem by not only making the keyring stronger and a carbineer more compact with a split second removal system that is now blended into one, so now no added keyring is needed, although extra key rings can be added if one wanted more space for EDC items.
The Carbineer Split Second Keyring shown is like a miniature tool box that has some of my EDC designs placed on the ring, such as the CPM S35VN Metperial multi tool, Little Bit More Titanium multi tool, Titanium nail file tweezer, and the Titanium structure keyring magnet accessory, the magnet is also uses the sleeve part to lock the small key ring hook in place for extra weight when lifting.
The picture below illustrates the titanium structure magnets sleeve placed over the locking hook system so the Split Second Key Ring does not pry apart when a heavy a load is applied when lifting a bucket of paint.
The Titanium structured magnet keyring accessory also allows to hang the Carabiner Split Second Keyring as pictured attached to rusty screw on an aluminum widow frame.
The magnets sleeve part is also displayed over lapping the small patented hooking system on the Split Second Key ring that secures a heaver lifting load.
I use an EDM wire cutting manufacture procedure to be able to cut such a fine structure which is time and cost consuming, but the accurate precision machining allows a very fine nail file teeth structure, or the Split Second Keyring spring design to succeed.
I also use CNC machining process to precision round of the outsides and inside corners as well CNC machining the patented side wedges in the hook grabbing region that split the distances to allow large fitting items without over stretching the spring system that gives an appearance similar to upmarket titanium jewelry items.

Risks and challenges
I have now completed the design and development including having readied the CNC tooling fixtures and procedures to EDM wire cut that I have 100% hands on all QC manufacturing that is straight forward with not many secondary procedures such as surface finishing.
I have allowed extra time to manufacture and post rewards even though the manufacturing process is straight forward with EDM and CNC machining established as well as the small stainless steel spring already manufactured alongside the 3mm Gr5 titanium plate pre ordered.
I have allowed this extra time to complete several other Kick Starter projects I are also in the final stage of manufacturing for my present backers that are almost complete and have decided to launch this new design project early because of the recent patent pending Gr5 titanium Split Second Key Ring design project has been copied with a very slight change some weeks ago, I have mentioned when I make a new design it opens doors to vision the next stage of that design which is now the Gr5 Titanium Carbineer Split Second Keyring and why I have introduced this new design early because of the fear I have now opened doors for copycats to be further try and design from my ideas.
My patent pending Split Second Keyring design legally can be copied while my patent is pending until I complete the final patent process to protect my invention from been copied.
I will also display my past Kick Starter designs on Indiegogo projects for the first time shortly and then onto the international market as I have many enquiring after my past Kick Starter projects to purchase further and have not the resources to sell on line outside crowd funding at this stage.
I have been offered by the largest tool manufacture in Asia just before I started kick starter projects which was to manufacture and market one of my early multi tool designs under license, but I have turned them down for many reasons to go alone with the now help of Kick starter backers support.
