Why and What is Deadly Crimson
Deadly crimson is an action packed color comic book containing Six (6) Issues, starting with Issue 1. We are also planning on creating a collectors edition book as well. The creator/writer, Melissa LeEllen has endured 21 days in the Panamanian jungle on the television show for Discovery Channel, "Naked and Afraid". She never gave up during the harsh conditions and has that mindset now during her newest project, "Deadly Crimson".
About Deadly Crimson
Deadly Crimson starts off with Crimson, reckless, adrenaline hunter on a mission that goes from bad to worse to "I'm walking away from this." Only there's no walking away from Cole Pryor, the man in charge. Think Tony Stark with twice the sense of humor and none of the conscience.
This one choice of walking away unravels her entire life, including the lives of her husband and teenage daughter, up until now, completely oblivious to her double life.
Before Crimson was born, she was just a normal researcher, Jamie Roberts, working in a lab at Pryor Industries. Jamie came across a breakthrough and developed a serum to speed up the healing process and the immune system of the wounded. While her discovery was still in the testing phase, her parent company, Pryor Industries, managed to utilize the same serum to grant her increased strength, speed and awareness, turning her into the perfect killer.
The only complications - her husband Leo, and teenage daughter, Alexandra. Her missions around the globe fractured their relationship to a near breaking point.
With her decision to walk away from Cole, her identity is revealed, her daughter is kidnapped and now she is Cole's #1 target.
Crimson and Leo embark on an intense and electrifying rescue mission, forcing them to ally with international killers and criminals, while facing off against the growing might of this crime organization. All this while the clock ticks down on the fate of their daughter, Alex.
Crimson's World is packed with excitement, explosions and secrets of her world. And the world is exactly what she is up against!
Follow Crimson at work during a secret mission!
DEADLY CRIMSON consist of 6 issues PLUS collector's issues. During this campaign you will be getting the print copy of Issue 1!
Also we will be marketing the comic books by Crimson herself going around the United States and promoting. We will be at comic book conventions, book stores, events, red carpets and more! You will get your own chance to come out and meet Crimson yourself.
Creative Global Entertainment will be the publisher on board for the first issue of Deadly Crimson. The publisher is talking with one the largest distribution companies in order to get Deadly Crimson on comic book shelves nationwide and an agreement has been made with a few online fulfillment centers in order to market the book online. Also we are working with limited nationwide book stores for the launch in February. This is why I need your help! In order to use these distribution outlets, we need a minimum amount of print copies--plus it makes printing cost more affordable by printing a large quantity.

Thank you for taking time and reviewing the funding goals. I have kept the initial funding goal small. However, there are stretch goals that will greatly increase the magnitude of DEADLY CRIMSON. If we reach our funding goals or any stretch goals, there are extra rewards that will be added too!
$1250 BASIC GOAL
After paying Kickstarter's fee, payment processing fees, and the cost of printing and shipping the books and other perks, anything leftover will go towards supporting the comic book cost such as: artist cost, costume upgrades, and paying comic book conventions. This will help greatly to move Deadly Crimson closer to comic book store shelves.
$7000 WHAT WE REALLY NEED GOAL
PRINT: If we hit this goal, we can print a higher print run at lower book cost. I have a printing agreement with the lowest price at just under $.60 a copy! This will be enough to cover the first quarter and comic book conventions like Atlanta's MegaCon and San Deigo's Comic Con next year plus take care of shipping and of course all the reward perks.
ARTIST: Pay all artist cost for the Issue 1 book, posters, promotional materials artwork, etc. Also start working on the artwork for the next issue.
PROMOTIONAL ITEMS: We are able to offer more promotional items than just filling reward perks. We can have items for comic book conventions, events, and giveaways for all events. These will consist of posters, t-shirts, coasters, stickers, magnets, postcards, flyers and more. AND YOU GET MORE REWARDS!
COSTUME UPGRADE: Some upgrades on the costume are needed. Crimson makes appearances at many events around the country and her costume has to grow with the project. Many pictures are taken with fans and uploaded to social media sites. Some upgrades include boots, new weapons, vest with belt and new gloves.
FEES: Everything in the original goal amounts that include Kickstarter’s fees, processing fees and cost of shipping reward perks along with any additional fees.
$17000 TIME TO MOVE FORWARD GOAL
Along with being able to complete all the goals above and finishing Issue 1, we are able to start the artwork and the print run on the next couple of issues which will get us to distribution level with one of the largest distribution companies. I will be able to get a total of at least two (2) issues into my reader’s hands. Distribution will get the comic books to local book stores all over the United States. This includes Issue 1, 2 and 3. Cost involved in production of the next issues are paying the Penciler, colorist, writer, creator, editor, script supervisor, printing, and shipping.
Higher Goals also means more rewards!!!!
