Workspaces are messy and cluttered. They are filled with so many devices that take up way more surface area. It is such a hassle to disconnect all of the cables and wires, not to mention tearing down the desk itself. All of this impacts the user experience. We believe the user experience can and should be improved. So we are doing just that.
When we asked users what they disliked about their existing workspaces, the most common feedback we received was that there were way too many wires. We determined the issue was from all of the different devices that are connected to a typical desktop. Speakers, microphones, webcams and even monitors all have different cables and wires for data and power, and this can quickly add up.
Our conclusion was that the best way to solve this problem was to design a product that implemented these devices at their full size without interfering with the users workspace, and with as little cables as possible.
We studied the different ways people interacted with their own setups, and we took the best solutions we found and implemented them into SPACE.
Our solution was to add in a 24-inch touchscreen attached to a mechanism that can extend vertically and horizontally, adding a breath of functionality to what has been an otherwise static solution for the monitor. We also put it at the front and center so whatever your working on is always the primary focus of your workspace.
Personalization is at the heart of our product, and its what we have spent the most time on. We wanted to make sure that each and every person that uses SPACE is able to make it their own.
We made it so you can open up SPACE and add in your own customized hardware if you want, and we added a 120 volt port on the top so you can add an accessory device like a lamp or second monitor without having to duck under your desk looking for a power strip.
One of the things that perplexed us so much was when looking at desktop setups was the placement of USB ports. Have you ever noticed that they are almost always on the back of a tower or all-in-one? This means that every time you have to plug in something you have to go hunting. Well we figured this was an easy fix, so we made them super easy to access on the top, and for good measure we placed the power button there too so you could have everything in one place.

SPACE is the culmination of nearly 2 years of tireless research, development, prototyping and refinement. Our team has grown to include some of the very best Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University has to offer, and each one is intensely passionate about the future of the workspace.
REFUNDS
We reserve the right to issue or deny any requested refunds. If we issue a refund, we will deduct 10% from it because that amount has already been taken from your pledge as fees for the payment processor and Kickstarter.
INTERNATIONAL BACKERS
We ship internationally to select countries using FedEx and USPS. You will be given the choice to select your preferred carrier at the end of the campaign.
All international shipments are subject to duties, taxes and clearing fees which you are responsible for paying. All Kickstarter rewards will be declared 'gifts', however, most countries will assess duties/taxes and in certain countries the carrier will pre-pay the duties and taxes and bill you later. If you refuse delivery, your package will be abandoned. Once abandoned, we can’t ship another package to you or issue a refund.
A lot of planning goes into making The Ultimate Workspace Experience, and every attempt is made at eliminating risk. But as with all projects there is always the unknown. We will do everything we possibly can to make sure that SPACE and our other rewards show up on time and on par with our customers expectation, but if for any reason we cannot meet this requirement we can promise two things:
1) Every single SPACE will never leave our care before it has been obsessively inspected and tested to ensure quality
2) You will always be able to reach us and get a straight answer. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer support, and know how important it is in relation to your experience. If we have to delay a reward you can be assured you will know why and it will be a darn good reason.
