Hi guys, high time for a big update.
We, of course, do believe in our product, but didn’t expect to get 100% funded in just 5 days. We even didn’t have time to make a neat pic for the stretch goals, as we planned to do this some time later in the campaign. We’re incredibly happy that we were mistaken about that.
We thank you for your support and feedback. We’ve considered it, and adjusted our stretch goals. By the way, while we were writing these, the first stretch goal has come much closer.
We care about the world we live in, and try to reduce waste where we can. Even if it costs more, we’ll try to fit the funds we get, and make HUDWAY Glass package exclusively out of recyclable and biodegradable materials.
To further reduce the necessity of interacting with the phone when behind the wheel, we’ll implement voice control in our apps when we reach $250. You’ll just need to say “Hey HUDWAY… Show my speed” or “Navigate me Home” and get it done. We already have prototypes for that!
There’s been a lot of you guys asking why we don’t feature HUDWAY PRO in the rewards. OK, you get it — shall the campaign collect $325K, all the backers get HUDWAY app PRO Mode Lifetime license for free. There were technical restrictions for that, but as there are so many of you wanting it —we decided we can just set the subscription price to free for several days.
When we’re lucky to reach $400, we’ll add an NFC tag to each HUDWAY Glass. With that, your favourite app will launch or go to HUD mode once the smartphone touches the cradle.
We’ve been long dreaming to implement offline maps in HUDWAY app. This would allow our users to travel globally with no Internet needed for navigation, see other streets and crossroads for better orientation, create multiple via points, and just launch the app and drive freely, without indicating start and destination points and creating the route.
And, last but not least — owls. They’re smart and cute, and we all love them. We found a non-profit foundation in Canada that’s been helping orphaned and injured owls (and also eagles, hawks, falcons, and turkey vultures) since 1985, and thought we could contribute to that. These guys help birds of prey from all over British Columbia, other provinces and the U.S.A. We encourage you to go and check their website: http://www.owlcanada.org
We are most likely to achieve these goals if you keep sharing the information about our campaign across the web. Feel free to share with any ideas. We’ll be happy if we can make HUDWAY Glass even better than we planned!
Stay tuned and have a great day!
