Another reality, another Earth. World War II is still on and the dreaded nuclear apocalypse is casting its shadow over mankind. With no resolution in sight, League of Nations has partnered with a team of top scientists to give the conflicted governments a new, grand and uniting goal: to colonize Mars. Thus, a colossal Starship was built, with 4 nations that would come on board: USA, United Kingdom, Soviet Union and the Third Reich.
Despite initial agreements, conflicts ensue soon after boarding. Lead your nation, form and break alliances, fight and take control of the starship.
Just remember, that amongst all enemies on board, there is one more foe that you can't fight off with bullets. Time. Waiting this out is not an option. You have to fight.
AVA Starship is a deck-building area control game for 2-4 players using a modular board. Lead your people, gain advantage and secure key modules of the Starship.
AVA Starship - Take control!
We assure you that all components delivered with the game will be beautiful, high-resolution prints on high quality cardboard. The kickstarter production release of the game will also include stylish 3d miniatures.
Every turn you draw cards from your deck and decide what you need to do the most to take control of the Starship.
The Starship hasn't launched yet, so you still can add new units. Use cards to get astronauts or even national heroes on board!
In order to take control of the Starship you need to get rid of opponents. Use cards, command your units and decide which compartments you want to conquer...
...then resolve fight rolling custom dice!
Be flexible! Buy new, stronger cards for your deck to make the odds be ever in your favor.
Every now and then you will need to give your plans a boost. Look for special abilities that you can use to gain tactical advantage.

I started playtesting AVA Starship with friends, neighbors and family. Only after joining forces with Monsoon Group I took tuning the game mechanics and balance to a whole new level. A few words about the Monsoon Group - these are the people behind games like: CV, Spaghetti, CVlizations, Kolejka and so many more. AVA Starship has changed a lot during this time - some mechanisms were added, some removed. After almost 3 years of testing and perfecting the artistic side of things, the game is finally ready for you to enjoy it!
The ever-smiling Designer and Artist of AVA Starship. Maciej has been an avid board gamer for over 20 years. He started his journey with D&D and Talisman. Maciej plays a lot, but quite often he feels like the games he plays lack something important. Some are way too long for what they offer, others have overwhelming rules and an unconvincing theme that is pasted on. After considering it the way things have to be for many years, he decided to do something about it and that gave way to his first board game project. When he is not giving in to his passion of game design, Maciej finds a creative outlet in graphic editing for several publishing companies and ad agencies.
Skirt-wearing board games fan since she could hold a dice. Loves complexity in her games, and yes, mentioning the 'blonde' part will get your butt thoroughly kicked before you know it. Some of her all-time favorites include Arkham Horror, Dungeon Petz and 7 Wonders Duel. For a living, Gosia puts together seemingly random and chaotic pieces of a puzzle and magically turns them into successful projects. No one has yet figured out how she does this, though many have tried.

Risks and challenges
As with any project consisting of multiple steps (production and shipping), some delays are possible, but we have already accounted for them, and built our fulfillment plan in accordance. Nonetheless, unforeseen production or shipping difficulties may occur, but with complete control over art, design and production, we believe that only the worst case scenario might actually delay the game, in which case it would arrive to you 3 to 5 weeks later than planned.
We aim to satisfy our fans and backers, so if you have any questions about the project, be sure to comment, ask us via a Kickstarter private message or via email at firstname.lastname@example.orgLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
