About this project
Indstruktibl Clothing is a distinctive clothing company, founded by Chad Addie in late 2009. The idea was conceptualized on Milwaukee’s famed east side, in a run-down, disheveled college dwelling. What began as merely curiosity turned into countless late-night design sessions, which progressed into the creation of one-off t-shirt designs for friends and family members. Consumer interest was undeniably present, so Chad carried the idea a step further. His efforts evolved into a full-fledged limited liability company.
Our company’s mission is to provide unique, high-quality apparel to our customers. We approach our business with the intention of conquering conformity, and our products and company name reflect that notion. Our clothing caters to the toughest athletes, the rawest of bands, and to everyone who desires a distinctive, inimitable style.
At Indstruktibl Clothing, we take pride in creating hand-crafted works of art for our customers. Each shirt is made for you with premium fabric, hand-finished washes, unique details, and most importantly, an excellent fit. You'll love the individual character and comfort of everything you purchase from us.
Help Us Launch Our First Ever Full Line
By donating to our Kickstarter you're making our first full line possible this summer. The cost of large runs of these high quality products can be overwhelming. If we reach our funding goal, we will help to keep work in America through our printers, manufacturers and designers.
If you pledge to our project, you will be the first to receive products from our all new line this summer. Here are some examples of our current products.
Create & Maintain American Jobs
You will be helping to bring jobs back to America and create job security for those already employed in the production industry. From our local printers Redwall Printing in Milwaukee, WI, to the suppliers of our blanks at American Apparel, to the designers that create these hand-made works of art.
Where are these items being made?
All of our design is done at our studio in Chicago, IL. After the design is complete, our blanks are stitched in Los Angeles, California at American Apparel. The blanks are then shipped to our printers in Milwaukee, WI where they are printed/embroidered.
Where exactly is my money going?
Our pledges will be allocated across the following areas:
$20,000 - Apparel Cost
This is the amount that we need to fulfill all minimum requirements on our apparel production. This cost includes fabric, manufacturing, screen-printing, and any embroidery.
$5,000 - Trade Show Booth
This amount will cover the cost of a booth at the Surf Expo in Orlando, FL this September. The expo will be a great opportunity to spread the word about our company to a large audience and help get us into boutiques and retail stores across America.
$4,000 - Marketing
We know that we create the highest quality apparel in the industry today, but we need to spread that information to everyone else. These funds will go towards a full advertising campaign to go along with our summer line. (Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, Google Ad Words, flyers, posters, SEO etc.)
$1,000 - Packaging, Printing, Supplies & Shipping Cost
We believe that every part of your order should be beautiful when you receive it at your doorstep. This means custom packaging that reinforces the reasons you purchased products from us. You're looking for a unique experience, and we will provide that to you!
$30,000 - Total & Funding Goal
And that's it. All expenses combined, we need $30,000 to make this dream we created into a reality. Thank you for your support!
Who Made the Video?
The shooting and production of this video was done by Chad Addie with the help of friends and family. We had no budget to work with, but we worked hard to make something from our hearts. We hope that it gave you a better idea of what we're all about.
What happens after Kickstarter?
We want to make Indstruktibl a household name in America. We want it to inspire others as much as it inspires us. We believe that every order we send out could make a difference in someone's life. Anyone can be Indstruktibl if they strive to be the greatest in what they do everyday.
Thank you so much for your support, it truly means a lot to us!
Special thanks to Daniel Wu, The Good Fight Studios, and Robert Richard for the help!
