5/28/2016 THE PIZZA PARTY STRETCH GOAL
We are so damn excited to have met our goals, and we're awful proud of what we've achieved here with your help. If we can nail a lofty stretch goal of $3000, we have the go-ahead to host a FRIGGIN PIZZA PARTY here at Astro Zombies in Albuquerque. By backing the project for any amount, you will find yourself on an exclusive guest list, for an after hours pizza and beverage party, featuring Southpaw himself in a dangerous, live wrestling event for your amusement. We'll provide pizza bought with money you gave us. It's kind of like buying a future meal now, like an investment. So if that sounds like a sweet deal to you, guy who hasn't already pledged, drop a dollar in the pot, for some cheap as heck live entertainment and pizza.
5/28/2016 THE SKETCH STRETCH GOAL
We met our last stretch goal in THEE DAYS, hoss! What a mighty thing! Our next objective is a stretch of $2500. If we meet this goal, every sketch card will be upgraded to the dimensions of a standard comic book (6 3/4'' x 10 1/2'') packaged with your physical Gorilla Bomb paperback. It will look something like these sketch covers by Joseph.
If you want one of these unique bad-boys, consider upgrading your pledge-package to include a sketch card. You could even frame it if you want!
5/25/2016 THE STICKER STRETCH GOAL
We're funded! What a grand thing! We are going to transmute our enthusiasm into sticker form, having reached our $2200 stretch goal. We'll send every human receiving a physical copy of the book a high quality vinyl sticker of our logo:
So if you haven't backed yet, now's the time to get your pre-order in! You love stickers! YOU LOVE STICKERS. I LOVE YOU.
Central City meets The Wrestler in this miniseries, which explores legacy and LGBT issues against the backdrop of a simian-driven apocalypse level disaster. Our world is torn inside out as a dimension of mutant super-apes explode out of their violent world into our own.
Our last hope rests firmly on the shoulders of Reyes Southpaw Esparza, an alcoholic ex-boxer with a punchy mind, and the explosive power of the punch force rushing through his bloodstream. Partnered with wunderkind super-scientist and D.E.N.A. agent Paz Chen, the two race against the clock and the bitter machinations of the villainous Professor Simioid.
Join us on our ultra-violent magic carpet ride, where nothing is sacred and there are just apes EVERYWHERE. We have drawn SO MANY apes, the least you could do is look at them.
WHO EVEN MAKES THIS?
Best friends and ape-enthusiasts, Desmond Fox and Joseph Millard, that's who.
Desmond Fox is an award winning fantasy writer and musician, with features in Fiction Vortex, and an honorable mention from Writers of the Future (so you know he's good). Joseph Millard is an award winning artist, having graduated from the University of New Mexico, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in fine arts, with features in local print. Gorilla Bomb is their first comic work together, and has a substantial, 200+, dedicated community on Facebook. The work was also the focus of a successful art show.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?
Gorilla Bomb is done. We've finished the book, just shy of a few pages, and after publishing them in single issue format, we're looking to finish up the project as a paperback graphic novel. With your contributions, we're going to print out a grip, and get them in your meaty little paws. Then we can all look at and make ha-has with the funny monkey book. Any extra we raise will go towards keeping the book in stock, and getting into local comic shops.
Issues five and six never made it out as costly floppy comics, and this graphic novel is the only way to get a hold of those stories.

Risks and challenges
At this point, the project is 90% complete, so barring a disaster, the small funding we're asking for is a pretty safe bet. There's always the chance of getting a bad print job, but we'll be ordering a proof copy to avoid that particular nastiness.
Really though, this a straight forward self-published comic, a process we've gone through half a dozen times now.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
