Hey again, So I wanted to extend this link out to you all to see what our last shoot looked like.
below is a link to the behind the scenes video from our last shoot.(this shoot was for the fictional element of our story.)
Austin Lottimer, Hamilton Pevec
I know its been a long time since you have heard from us, because we have been racing time to make this movie. I'm sure you are all wondering when will the movie be done? When will I get my incentive? etc... The more we learn: the more we uncover: the more we understand and the longer our movie becomes. Everything has been taking longer than we anticipated because we keep uncovering new angles, new stories and this makes for a mush bigger picture more comprehensive movie. This issue of natural gas extraction and production is so huge its hard to compress into a short film. After shooting 36 hours of interviews, and creating two narrative films within our short film we have decided to expand this little movie into a feature length documentary. to tell the story right and to do the issue justice, we cannot fit all this into a 26 minutes, it absolutely must be a feature. What this means for you, is that you will have to wait a little longer to see the movie and to receive your incentives. we are very sorry for the inconvenience but we are very happy to be making this movie right, Its so important, particularly at this time when "fracking" is in the public forum, for us to really nail these stories give the time that this issue deserves. All good things take time so we will take ours. our new estimated time of completion is November-December 2012.
This marks the beginning of a new round of fund raising for us. We will have a teaser out soon and a web page for potential investors and interested parties. If you know anyone or entity who wants to help us produce this very important story please contact us directly.
We are very excited about the work we are doing and we will let you all know how to see our teaser and how to direct traffic to our web page.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR HELPING US GET THIS FAR, NOW WE ARE GOING THE DISTANCE.
