@Phil, sorry you don't like it. There are quite a few differences from RSV2 like lack of regenerating health, 3rd person cover, etc. But we are an indie team with a small budget, we are focusing on gameplay, if we had an extra 50 or 100 million dollars, maybe we could meet your expectations.

    2. Christian Allen, Serellan LLC Creator on June 29, 2013

@anthony not out of the question, just focusing on PC first then 360 right now.

Looks like a bad Vegas 2. The 90s have called, they want their game back. ;)

    4. anthony on June 24, 2013

Is an Xbox one version out of the question?

    5. Deosl on June 12, 2013

@Ryan, No word on when the alpha/beta will be out. The full game will be out this fall on PC & Xbox 360.

Hey guys; sorry if you've already mentioned this but when is the release date, still July?

    7. Warboss on April 15, 2013

Yes I did. I'll contact him, thanks.

    8. Deosl on April 15, 2013

@Warboss, did you answer the kickstarter survey in October? Contact terryh (at) with your info.

    9. Warboss on April 10, 2013

I was wondering if you were still shipping the T-Shirt and patch because I did not receive them yet ?

    11. Sean Hutchinson on April 5, 2013

YES - I am an idiot!!! Doesn't help when you don't read your e-mails on the date the were sent!!! Good one guys! Looking forward to the game!

    12. Sean Hutchinson on April 5, 2013

Hi Guys, I am a little confused regarding your most recent update, why have you teamed up with Zynga and Activision, two of the most reviled companies in the industry after we invested in a crowd funded project? Also what are the cars all about? Just seems like you are bragging about buying a bunch of cars with perhaps a big fat bonus for partnering with these companies? Or was it kickstarter money which was used? Can you also confirm which platforms this game will be released and roughly when it will be released?

Just went through the FAQ on Serellan's site where you get to watch video responses by the Dev's to the most frequent questions. This really is sounding like the RB6 spiritual successor me and my friends have been waiting for.…

Going to be at T-Mobile's campus in Bothell next week to teach them advanced server performance analysis, it's really cool to realize I will just be a few miles from their Serellan's office. I'm tempted to offer a Starbucks run of their favorite beverages just so I can stop by and say Hi!

Thanks for all of the updates on your Serellan site Christian, it's great to see the frequent updates and responses to questions.

Curious if there is a way to pledge extra money at this point? Say If I decided I wanted collectors as opposed to a lower level? I expect not but just thought I would ask :)

    15. Jamie on February 12, 2013

I got my patch in today (in Canada). Wish there was velcro backing, but the patch looks excellent. I used velcro with glue backing and it worked in a pinch.

    19. Spiffy_King on October 13, 2012

please allow for more shirt sizes. Ill never wear anything that large :(

    20. TheChosenOne on October 13, 2012

Weird survey... better to use a outside survey to poll for platforms. Kickstarter surveys are better used for adress, T-shirt size etc.

    21. Charles Alvis on October 12, 2012

Huh, "Wel'll try to send your t-size - inventory permitting?" Surely don't have the t-shirts already made before you get everyone's sizes?

I;m a small also, but I figured if Large is the smallest they're offering, then I may as well compromise with a Medium, Lol

    23. Gustav on October 12, 2012

I'd like a small T-shirt rather than a large, but I could only pick LG and XL.

    25. Paul Street on August 30, 2012

      @Mr. Allen
      Thanks for the update!

    26. Christian Allen, Serellan LLC Creator on August 30, 2012

      @Paul Street

Hi Paul, I am working on a Kickstarter update right now, incorporating concept art and a production video. Should be up today or tommorrow.

    27. Paul Street on August 29, 2012

Has there been any progress on this project? I feel as if there haven't been many updates (over two months ago since the last update) and being in Afghanistan the company forums are blocked for me.

Has the game been cancelled? There doesn't seem to be any screenshots or concept art on any of the Kickstarter pages.

    28. TheChosenOne on July 11, 2012

Since we love to back multple KS projects I have made a nice topic covering a bunch of great diferent Kickstarter projects; - Feel free to look and back whatever you fancy.

    30. Tom Neudorf on June 14, 2012

Glad to see some experienced developers made the team. Can't wait for the final game. Are there going to be any 'Socom' elements implemented?

Thanks for keeping Kickstarter as part of your loop. Monthly updates here is a lot better than abandoning this site once funding is finished. I'm still looking forward to a great launch for Takedown, and my T-shirt! :)

    33. Christian Allen, Serellan LLC Creator on April 29, 2012

@Stefan: Don't know why your comment would have gone away, I haven't deleted any comments.

I've gotten the feedback loud and clear, and we plan monthly updates on Kickstarter. If you want updates more often, you should check our forums at

Curious why my post has been deleted from 17th April: "Have to say I agree that updates should be done on here... I'm on the forums but that's just chatter."

The downside to kick-it-forward (besides rampant misinformation) is that it can take a long time before it returns anything to the other projects. I do look forward to seeing which projects the honor-system based effort does fund in the next year or two when it starts to really pay off.

    40. Christian Allen, Serellan LLC Creator on April 6, 2012

      @eric Relax. Check the thread.

    41. Eric on April 6, 2012

Christian, if you're reading this, the PC Community is really worrying about the gameplay of the game. It seems like you're more listening to SOCOM Playstation player than to old R6/SWAT players, there is a thread in the forum about it, please eventually, take a look at it.…

    42. Christian Allen, Serellan LLC Creator on April 6, 2012

Note to KS folks messaging me, Kickitforward is pledging profits from the final product, not from the KS pledges to this project (which would be not cool to the people who pledged to us anyways), so we are not in a position to pledge % to your current projects. We are getting a LOT of messages about this, please read the Kick it Forward website before you contact us.

Hopefully this project sticks with what they originally visioned on PC as a hardcore tactical first person shooter with coop like the first 3 rainbow six's or swat 3/4 and not some casual third person shooter like vegas or the newer ghost recons or some stupid MLG focus. I would prefer leaving that stuff for the console version.

    49. T. Spradlin on April 4, 2012

Yep. The forums are where you should go.
