KCS seeks your support to off-set the cost of assembling a professional 25 piece orchestra for two choral performances. Read more

About this project
Kirkland Choral Society is a 100 voice community choir dedicated to inspiring audiences through performances of classical and modern choral masterworks.
Our project is two performances of Mozart's Requiem, one of the most moving and enigmatic pieces of music ever composed. Surrounded by myth and controversy, Mozart’s powerful Requiem stands 220 years later as living testament to his genius and the deeply expressive nature of his music. This celebrated world treasure will be matched with two gems that may be discoveries for many – Bach’s Cantata 106 and Brahms' Nänie.
Our artistic director, Dr. Glenn R. Gregg will assemble an orchestra of 25 professional musicians specifically for these two concerts, costing KCS $5,800. We are seeking your contribution to help off-set this expense and enable us to provide these concerts at affordable prices, so everyone can enjoy the gift of beautiful music.
The performancs will be given on Friday, March 23 at Westminster Chapel in Bellevue, WA at 7:30 pm and Saturday, March 24 at Daniels Recital Hall in Seattle, WA at 7:30 pm. We would love to see you there!
