We are so happy to announce that we are recording our new CD entitled, “The Beauty We Love.” It includes a spectrum of music: from African drum rhythms and songs, to original pieces honoring the beauty of the natural world, to compositions on the frame drums, inspired by our beloved teacher Layne Redmond. Our intention is to launch this CD on a mini European tour scheduled for October 2018, teaching and performing, leading a retreat at Spannocchia in Italy, and continuing on to Annegret’s home in southern Germany, where we’ll perform in her family’s bakery! This is truly a dream come true for all of us in Inanna. Your help in funding this project will pay for the production, engineering, mastering, and duplication of the CD, the video for this Kickstarter project, as well as our travel expenses to Europe. We will document our travels on Facebook, and when we return home will offer a presentation of The Beauty We Love: inspirations from our travels. We have calculated that this project will cost us $15K, and trust that you will give your support. We send you much gratitude!
Special thanks to our recording engineer Jeb Enoch of the Maine Music Mill, our videographer Jared Morneau, Toki Oshima, Illustrator for T-shirt, Liberty Graphics, our t-shirt printer, and Cooperman Drums. Deep gratitude to all our teachers around the world. And to every woman who has ever been a member of the Inanna family.

Risks and challenges
An important piece of this project includes a mini Europe tour, teaching and performing in Italy and Germany. We are leading a frame drumming retreat in Spannocchia, Italy, and already have 17 people who are registered and excited to participate! We have chosen to keep the price as low as possible for this retreat to make it accessible to our students, and are trusting that we will receive the financial support that we need from Kickstarter to cover our travel expenses. How to overcome these challenges? Communicating with our friends and fans, through social media, marketing, teaching and performing.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
